15.01.2022 After only two days we have managed almost $500 in donations,many people offering their time as volunteers and have acquired the support services of a Counselor specialising in grief and loss. 01.01.2022 https://www.gofundme.com/sunflower-house Emma Kate bowker was a beautiful soul that exuded happiness and a lust for life and adventure that was unrivalled. Unfortunately Emma's journey was cut short by cervical cancer at the age of 25. During Emma's treatments at the royal brisbane woman's hospital she was brave and faced it without fear. Myself and Emma were in a comfortable financial position at the time of her journey but it made me realise the struggles that others face ...in this time such as limited free parking and no cheap accommodation in the surrounding areas for those less fortunate. So in Emma's honour I would like to try and change this by providing a place for these brave women and their families in their time of need. My dream is to fund sunflower house a safe haven for patients with women's cancer providing accommodation,shuttle bus service, food clothing,support services and anything else within my power. The target is high but not impossible to achieve. So please donate and let's make something special. Let's look after our mothers's,wives and daughters.
