17.01.2022 At the beginning of the year I meet 16 year old Rory, who is a singer/ actor, who didn’t have any dance experience but wanted private lessons in Tap, Jazz and Ballet/ Technique before he was mean’t to head off to NYC for a 3 week Musical Theatre course at NYU in July. It’s been a pleasure teaching him! (excluding the 7 weeks we were closed) Even though his trip was canceled Rory took part in the 3 week Tisch online program. He was worked so hard at all 3 genres of dance, so much so his Ballet is now at a level where he can spread his wings further and enrol in an Intermediate RAD ballet class. Today we tried Maxi Fords for the first, well done Rory, so proud of what you have a achieved in what has been a crazy year! 17.01.2022 Practicing what I preach tonight when everyone had left the stuio. Repetition is the key. It might be a certain step, the melody of a song or a line of dialogue from your script.
