23.01.2022 At The Tiling Guys we have just finished another transformation. We were given a shell of a room where the walls needed to be rendered, floor screeded, as the customer wanted a walk in shower with no hob, (bricks to step over) With 600 x 300 slate colour porcelain on the floor and 300 x 600 white (with colour) ceramic on the walls. All whiteset (plaster ) removed, screeded the floor putting the correct falling in for the shower, primed & waterproofed, over Australian standards. Then tiled with 300 x 600 white ceramic tiles with a feature mosaic strip in the shower. With the floor tiles running up and over the bath as requested by the customer.... 13.01.2022 The Tiling Guys, Moved into the city for a short while renovating The Melbourne Hotel in Perth, that is hoping to be open in the next few weeks!! While we were there we had to screed & tile the main floor area, along with a feature wall & of course the kitchen walls, to what will be The New Ramen Restaurant. 12.01.2022 The Tiling Guys, have been busy recently, do a couple of jobs. Firstly a problem balcony that a customer had, that was leaking every time it rained, as previous tradie had the falls going the wrong way. So we stripped, primed, waterproofed, then screeders with correct falls, then waterproofed again before tiling. One very happy customer.... Then we had a bathroom where we were asked to strip a shower completely, along with the rest of the bathroom walls. So of course we stepped in stripped, primed & waterproofed as it had never been done then tiled. Another happy customer. 05.01.2022 The Tiling Guys have doing a couple of jobs recently, a balcony had issues with flooding the owners house for years. So it was take Up, prime and waterproof, screed with falls, then re-waterproof before tiling. Have to say the owners were very happy with the results. Also a bathroom/ shower where the owner wanted the shower floor retiled, but with the original style tiles and all the walls & skirting changed. To give the whole room a fresh new feel.... 03.01.2022 At The Tiling Guys, we do all sorts of jobs including insurance work, work for real estates, builders and of course residential, we are the preferred company to use for Peard in Mindarie. Whether we take on large or small jobs we never cut corners, the photos here are from a recent insurance claim where we were supposed to just match and stick old white tiles over the sink, the tiles were unavailable. So instead of giving the customer a mis matched area, we removed all of th...e tiles including removing all whiteset (plaster) as no adhesive company recommends to stick on it, you can see from pic 3, the last tiler didnt really try. So we always remove it. Another job complete another happy customer.
