21.01.2022 We spent yesterday filming at Ten Lives Cat Centre in New Town. They were super awesome and facilitated us - only they were actually quite low on cats! (Apparently were coming up to kitten season when they will be overwhelmed!) 19.01.2022 So this impromptu costume piece was made during todays writers meeting. The script is seriously shaping up now, the whole thing should be written and ready for cameras in no time at this point. Cant wait to shoot this one though, its had us laughing for a week now!
19.01.2022 With enormous thanks to our public (who have had the patience of saints) Old Nick are proud to announce Uni Revue PUNDEMIC will be shipping this week! It's not all ideal news - due to numerous delays with our manufacturing partner we will be shipping DVDs this week, with Blu-Rays to follow a few weeks later. HOWEVER! Everyone who requested a Blu-Ray will be given a code for the digital version which you can stream direct to a device or a smart TV, so hopefully that will be en...ough to tide you over for the time being. 15.01.2022 TONIGHT IS OPENING NIGHT and you know what that means! It means...wait...uh...hang on. Okay, take a breath and reset. Normally by today we would have spent all week in the theatre setting up and rigging and teching, our cast would have done the whole performance a bunch of times until they were absolutely perfect at it, and our AV guy would be assuring us that the video content for the screen will *definitely* be finished by next Friday. But thats not where were at obviousl...y - the theatres are shut, the gatherings are banned, and were all at home day drinking and attending Zoom meetings because apparently that passes for work these days. May Means Revue, and unfortunately two years in a row weve been unable to fulfill that doddery old marketing slogan. So Vale ScoMo Inferno and the show it might have been - raise a glass in its memory - and also drink a toast to the phoenix that is rising from the ashes. We might not deliver the first ever all-video Uni Revue in May, but it will come out, and itll come out sooner rather than later (if we stop the day drinking). 13.01.2022 The look the Jims Mowing guy told us when we asked if he was here from Victoria... In other news a short production update! Things are currently still on track for a September release. Currently were hoping to have the masters sent to the manufacturer by mid-September, which should mean well have them back and have everything posted out by the end of September. Were cutting it fine because thats how we roll, and the very last sketch (ironically, the opening number) will be filmed on the 12th of September. So its not long now! Parts of the show are now shaping up nicely and were cramming in tons of filming over the next three or four weeks to get the show over the line and into your hands. Not long now!

08.01.2022 And now weve come to the end of our show... Today were filming closing number at the Theatre Royal which brings us into our last few weeks of filming (and tons of editing) to get the show finished and delivered to you all. Were pretty excited to get a chance to film in one of the venues we usually spend a lot of time in, and its nice to be able to include the theatre as a part of the show - continuing a tradition dating back to the earliest Old Nick Varsity Revues. Well try and post heaps of behind the scenes shots today and tomorrow as we film ever more sketches and scenes in our race to the finish!

05.01.2022 Hi Uni Revue fans! Youre probably all wondering about Pundemic and where things are at. First up, we wont beat around the bush. There have been some delays, mostly related to people being utterly burned out on the day-to-day stresses of the COVID lockdown. HOWEVER! There was a recent major script meeting (in person! Bonza!) and the screenplay is shaping up spectacularly. Some stuff has been filmed, and weve been painting and planning for other shoots to begin in the near f...uture. So please be patient and sit tight, were certain this is going to be pretty funny and totally worth it, and meanwhile well be sure to keep posting progress updates for those interested. For those wondering what they can do if they missed the pre-sale bonanza, dont worry, when the show is finished and released theyll be available to buy, so nobody will miss out. We also have some cracking cameos either lined up or in discussions and we cant wait for everyone to see the madness weve got planned. Its going to be a ton of fun! Pre-orders are still open for another three days, and anyone who pre-orders will get the show a week before the public release (wow! Shock your friends by telling them who ends up on the Iron Throne! 04.01.2022 Hey Uni Revue fans - wed love to give you an update regarding PUNDEMIC and where were at (especially since lots of you are calling in asking where the heck it is). Weve been pretty candid on here from the start that it was hard for us to give a more precise time frame on it other than were doing it as quickly as we can. Now as the elements really start to fall in to place were feeling more confident in when you should be able to see it. Last year the Theatre Royal was ...closed and we ended up delivering Uni Revue: The Lyin King in September. This year we had COVID-19 and it looks like, odds on, well be delivering Uni Revue again in September with PUNDEMIC. We really hoped for a July delivery but thats just not the way the cookie crumbled. We were candid up front with this - weve never done a completely video Uni Revue before - but were determined to pull it off and we think weve got some really funny material in the can. When were getting closer to release there will be a trailer, and hopefully well also get some bloopers and other odds and ends out for your enjoyment while you wait. We might even drop a cheeky music video in the gap while you wait for your sweet sweet copy. So rest assured were working hard and well have heaps more to say over the next few weeks as it comes together!
