08.01.2022 Back at my desk & thought I’d start off 2021 by putting a face to the name behind TVC. My name is Shanae, I’m 22 & the owner of The Visual Cue. I’m a Graphic Designer, Digital Marketer & Illustrator whose always had a passion for creating. Why design?... In 2018, I graduated my first uni degree with a Bachelor in Business majoring in Marketing & Events. Throughout this degree, I felt the career path wasn’t for me as it didn’t feel right. I enjoyed how creative marketing could be, however I needed more creativity to enjoy my career. I was always obsessing over the finer details like how my assessments appeared visually. I wanted to share this as I’m always asked WHY didn’t I start out in design at uni. Having always loved the arts in school, I knew I always wanted to pursue a creative career, however I think any creative will understand how much creativity can be discouraged. So to put it simply, I didn’t think that I would be able to make a career from my creativity! Though, this was not time wasted. Having completed a biz degree allowed me to understand business, navigate through the marketing world, explore careers that allowed me to market VISUALLY and continue on with my studies in the field I was passionate about. Fast forward to now, I’ve graduated my second degree, a Bachelor of Design & Marketing in 2020 and working as a freelance designer through my business aka my baby, The Visual Cue. Starting this page one year ago, I’m extremely proud & grateful for the clients, opportunities, growth & the community that I have found. To say I’m excited about 2021 is a complete understatement. There’s so much cool sh*t on the horizon for @the.visual.cue which makes me so grateful that I fell into this career path. TVC allows me to combine my love for marketing & design. Allowing me to work both practically & creatively to deliver captivating and results driven design through branding and marketing. If you made it this far thankyou! 04.01.2022 holiday szn is here. thank you to everyone who supported The Visual Cue in 2020. this year has been a massive year of growth for me and TVC. from graduating my university degree of 5 years, to a rebrand and becoming self employed, I feel extremely grateful to finally be doing what I love each day. this time to reset will be used to enjoy friends, family and G&T’s. ... *TVC studio will be closed from the 23rd dec 2020 - 11th jan 2021. in this time I will be working within the studio however will be closed to clients & client projects.
