20.01.2022 This quote by Tony Hsieh is an apt way to contemplate your profession. Are you chasing your tail when it comes to bookwork/finance/budgeting/forecasting/cashflow? The hassle of dealing with our finances can seriously cloud over any passion and enjoyment we get out of our day to day job. The Wandering CFO has you covered, giving you the time and headspace to get stuck into the things you love about your job. CHASE YOUR PASSION.

20.01.2022 Want to know one thing you can implement right now to boost productivity? Get rid of your pop up notifications on your phone and computer. Switch those life-spammers off! I was hesitant at first but it has helped me take control of my day and tackle my priorities.... Balance this with setting aside time (that suits you) to check emails, etc. and you will instantly feel proactive rather than reactive.

19.01.2022 Cant find time to go see someone about helping you get control of your books, improving your profit and growing your business? There is a better way! The difference with The Wandering CFO is I visit you in person - on site, in your home or at the local cafe (or pub!) - the old-fashioned way.... Well also use video conferencing to have real-time access to the information you need, wherever and whenever you need it. The Wandering CFO - not your average accountant.

14.01.2022 Well what a show Mother Nature put on yesterday! Big rain here in north east VIC with 107ml recorded overnight!!! Our thoughts are with those whose homes were inundated last night and we are sending out thanks to the local SES, Roads VIC and Fire services who had a huge day cleaning up today!... Despite all the excitement, it felt good to wake up to the sun glinting on the pastures knowing that our farmers at least can smile with the paddocks turning green before our eyes. And it was nice to hear of a decent drop in the mallee too. Hopefully well timed for most

It has been a while since I last introduced myself so I thought I would repost a little write up about myself and what it I do: The Wandering CFO brings financial smarts and control to small businesses, helping them control their books, improve their profit and grow their business.... Life and work have taken me from rural Victoria to Melbourne via the corners of the globe and have offered me experience in a variety of industries including farming, trades, hospitality, transport and logistics and retail. These days, quality monitors are affordable and having a dual setup offers the benefits of:... 1. Increased productivity 2. Viewing or comparing multiple programs, documents and plans side-by-side 3. Removing the need for paper plans 4. Keeping emails open on one screen 5. Engaging in video calls whilst viewing other data 6. Connecting laptop to bigger screens when in the office Are you a dualer or singler?
