25.01.2022 Im reflecting today on this year and how much has changed since March. I love working with you all, I love meeting you and supporting you and its been such a different dynamic this year having to do it all online. . I've really missed the interaction and puting faces to names. Its been such a challenging year for so many and I think its really important to reflect on the year. What has been hard? What have you missed out on? What has been the biggest set of challenges you have faced? . But its also really important to reflect on how you have been able to thrive! How have you grown? What have you learnt about yourself and your capabilities? Take all of this with you into your year next year. And remember when your faced with new challenges next year, just how much you have accomplished this year.

24.01.2022 For those of you who don't know, The Well Shift will welcome another member to our team in 2020! Through what has been a difficult year for everyone, we were lucky enough to be blessed with a new little human Unfortunately it also came with another bout of hyperemesis gravidarum which did make running a business (in a pandemic) that much more interesting. But I would just like to give you all a heartfelt thanks for your understanding and support and cant wait to introduce you all to our new member early next year.

24.01.2022 Announcement #4 coming to you this morning . This year has been a tough year for many who are doing their grad years. Its been a difficult year to work in healthcare period, but starting your career during a pandemic is a definite trial by fire. . We have spent many hours chatting with grads this year who need a debrief and a but of a chat with someone who understands. So next year we will be running a graduate debrief session every month so grads can sit down together and ...have a chat about their experience. (In a totally confidential, abiding by company policy kind of way...obvs) . A half hour one-on-one session that gives you an overview of some of the interview questions you may be asked, detailed feedback on how you answered them and also your recording back so you can see how you did! This session has been described as "Absolutely essential, I cant believe how many questions I was asked that we went over, I felt so confident. Thank you so much" . 07.01.2022 Our first workshops for 2021 are up on the website now! We will be offering webinar versions of our workshops from Jan - April. We will be running one a month, per state - with strictly limited numbers. . As im not sure when I'll pop and giving myself some time to adjust and figure out how we will manage the in person workshops (particularly interstate). So for the first few months we will run them online with a return to inperson courses being scheduled for the end of Apri...l/start of May. . The content in the webinar is having a major overhaul at the moment and the key difference between the webinar sessions and the inperson session is the fact we run activities throughout the in person sessions that we can't do online...oh and there is delicious food provided (probably the most important part ) . So if you think the webinar version is for you and you enjoy some education in you pjs and your bed (hallo, haven't we allllll gotten used to that, this year) then book into our courses now. The content will be recorded and available for 30 days after the webinar itself. 05.01.2022 *Edit - its now 3 months prior to your final date - even better!!!* Did you know that at the end of the year AHPRA applications can take 6 - 8 weeks because of the influx of people trying to get registered? . So what if you finish in December and start in January? Well you have the option to begin your application six weeks before your final date at uni! That might be your final day of placement or the day you get your results! Which ever is last. .... You can pop over to the AHPRA website and get your application started and this generally means that the application will be finalised two weeks after your final date! Woo!
