24.01.2022 Gracie & Trevor Trev asked me at one point during the afternoon, I’m not sure we have enough silly ones... I realised I’d been working hard to create a lot of gorgeous images for them but I had forgotten what I value to most in taking images for people, I do want to make it fun, and for people to feel free to be utterly themselves. So here’s his beloved bride being super excited about being just married and getting ice cream. I promise to focus on the fun.

20.01.2022 This one is for the friends, the family and all the unsung hero’s of wedding days. You often get to see the final polished product, and rarely see the mechanics of what went on to make it happen. _ . Jeremy insisted on following us around while taking photos to make sure we were all looked after. For this shot I asked him to hold some flashes and perfectly hide behind Alex and James, nailed it. So we got a fun shot of his red beard while we still had the lights! He insisted... on carrying my bag for me and carrying the veil for Alex for when she did and didn’t want it on. He also insisted on having no credit given, but you know what, he deserves it. He’s a legend. Also notice the cute shot of the bromance between Jez and James _ . Pt. 2 After we were done shooting in the top paddock, we were about to start to slightly long walk back down the hill to then go back up the driveway, but before we knew it, we see the Mali Brae Ute rearing down the road above the paddock to give us a lift back. There was probably enough room for Jeremy and I to squeeze in the back, but we were sure as heck keen for a ride in the tray on the way back. So. Much. Fun. _ Point is; these people made a great day awesome, with their kind and serving hearts. I appreciate what you all do. I’m sure you can all think of people that don’t get enough credit for things like this. Make sure you give them a shout to let them know how awesome they are. See more

19.01.2022 Some light say his eyes light up when she’s around. Seriously in love with this light that we got and so stoked how chill and fun these guys are! They were very much up for the adventure.

19.01.2022 Sunsets are cool, but just after sunset has some truly lovely and soft light. What a dream this day was!

18.01.2022 We’d have some pretty amazing light, despite patches of rain dodging our location that evening. As we had finished up are we walking back to the cars along the slippery clay road, the clouds finally opened above us. Rather than run, I thought it best to embrace and capture the moment. 13.01.2022 As much as I love direct, golden light, that just-after-sunset-glow is probably my favourite. Heading into the warmer months there’ll be enough warmth to hang around and capture the glow without freezing your butt off!! Yay!! Get excited people!

12.01.2022 Always stop to smell the flowers! There’s no rushing involved in enjoying your day. Kate, what a gorgeous and fun bride you were!!

10.01.2022 I love hearing bits and pieces of how people meet and bind with each other. Jess & Greg spent time bushwalking in the mountains when they first met, so it only seemed fitting we get some of the classic blue mountains light and bush in their photos.

10.01.2022 Bec & Tom You truly deserved to celebrate and party! These guys got thrown so many curveballs this year even without the C word coming into the equation (covid duh). I was so so happy to be there to capture then fun, joy and beauty of your day!

10.01.2022 I had no idea if this would work _ . I placed my camera on top of my 2.5 metre lighting stand, with my remote to trigger the flash and THEN controlled the camera using the wifi on the canon app. I’m soooo glad this worked, worth the short walk up the bush track and the gamble of a somewhat untested set up.

09.01.2022 Just had to post these two images from yesterday. I think they sum it up perfectly, gorgeous AND fun. Kate & James, you guys are seriously legends. Thanks for being yourselves in front on my camera. I walked away from yesterday energised from the experience of hanging with you both. Thank you thank you thank you!

08.01.2022 What a place, and I couldn’t have asked for more awesome people to be running around with. I love be able to get awesome images with that will commemorate and celebrate their relationship for the years to come!

05.01.2022 Fairy lights on your bouquet? I say yes. Pro no. 1 they looks pretty. Pro no.2? Easy to find in the dark. Everyone wins.

02.01.2022 Walking through the light It was pointed out to me the other day (by the gorgeous bride in this image) on a previous post, that jumping fences is a tricky thing in a weddings dress, but sooooo worth it. But most of all pointed out that they have definitely earned more of a shout-out from me for being awesome and adventurous. SO. To all the couples, particularly those wearing long dresses, thank you. You’re legends. I shall forever be grateful for your awesomeness and willing...ness to: jump fences, climb up bush tracks and brave the elements (and other adventurous things). _ . Ps. Fun fact. Only reason I don’t have an epic shot of Catelyn jumping the fence, is because she was being handed over the fence to me by Hayden, the good looking dude in the back of the image.
