25.01.2022 YOU GET TO DECIDE. And it's probably a good start to ask yourself if you've assisted in creating what's been dealt to you, how's your previous choices brought you to where you are now. You don't need a new year, a new week or a new day to change direction, perhaps all you need is to make a new choice, in each moment to get you to a situation you would like to be in. ... Chose every thought, belief, action & reaction that will make you better. For you. #chooseyourexperience #bebetter #gratitude #chooseyou #chooselove #expand #seeclearly #yoga #divinedays #joshshipp

23.01.2022 I'm a bit late off the mark for mental health week but better late than never. I'm going to share something each day that resonates with or interests me, in the spirit of making the topic of mental health less stigmatised. Please like and share to start the conversation rolling This is poetry slam at its best. Something that I like to dabble with in the privacy of my own homePutting pen to paper is one thing that I like to do to make myself feel better. Anyone else?

14.01.2022 Something to remember for today. Do something to show your love for you. Be kind to yourself. Accept your past mistakes, they are in the past, stop bringing them into the present. Make a good choice. Stop calling yourself names. Lift yourself up. Look around and feel the contentment of the moment in every cell of your body. Give yourself a moment forbear he. #loveyourselffirst #unconditionallove #liveinthismoment #attract #love #goodvibes #manifestation #meditation #yoga

10.01.2022 "In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you." - Deepak Chopra Movement and chaos is a constant. Inside our bodies on a biochemical level, externally with everything that cannot be controlled, when there is so much going on, waves coming from every angle... But I can be still. I can be reactive and join in on the chaos, on the same dynamic, feel overwhelmed by involving myself, allowing myself to get caught up in the waves, the trains of thought, the ext...ernal stimuli that I cannot control. Or I can be still. I can be an observer. I can watch without involvement, I can let go of my thoughts without having to entertain them, I can breathe as the only reaction to the external stimuli. I can be still. And I can change my reality by deciding to sit in this stillness, deciding to be an observer. There is chaos but it is not imposing, it's not asking to be responded to, it simply is. And with understanding that comes freedom and liberation and peace and beauty. I can create my reality by how I view it. And this day it was from a place of stillness that brought me to tears and a comforting peace. Seek the stillness. It's there, I promise. Happy Monday Tribe xxx

10.01.2022 This morning. My happy place. Back on the mat teaching. Managed to not put myself to sleep, can't say the same for my students

06.01.2022 A different kind of yoga practice to my usual sunrise yoga at the pool, one with 2 divine beings who have taught me so much during their short time here. This day was no exception. My practice changes from one day to the next, evolving (not always physically progressing - it's not about that), sending me messages along the way, (as long as I take the moments needed to listen), showing me through my body what I am craving (is it to open my heart, find balance, remind myself o...f my own strength) and from those messages or signals if I pay attention I can be guided to another lesson on my journey. This practice reminded me of the balance I can find when I remember the meaning of yoga - yog; to yoke, to create union, a oneness or connection. Sometimes we can be so focussed on what we are doing rather than being. How many times have you ordered something without even making eye contact with the person behind the cash register? Or been in a conversation but only heard half of what the other person is actually saying? Find the oneness - connect with others and see yourself in them, find the yog. In the Bhagavad Gita, the great yogi warrior and Godhead of the Indian bhakti movement, emphasizes that yoga is union, love, the source of all things: He who is rooted in oneness realizes that I am in every being, wherever he goes, he remains in me. When he sees all beings as equal in suffering or in joy because they are like himself, that man has grown perfect in yoga. (BG 6.29-32) So practice your yoking, your yoga however comes to you today. By joining your body with your breathe through a physical practice or finding the union, the oneness with those you make contact with. Have an awesome Monday yogis & yoginis! #yoga #union #toyoke #oneness #findingbalance #littleteachers #listen #connect #breathe #love
