12.01.2022 This majestic girl. I have virtually chained my body to this tree when Piddo has been wielding around a chain saw. He was adamant she had to go and I was adamant she had to stay. She has come into her own this year. Nothing like a drought for a tree to appreciate a drink. ... She has shaded the cubby house, a sandpit, clam shells of water play, play tents, trampoline, the whole lot. We have spent a lot of time under that tree and I’m just so glad I get to see this view. Just feeling some love for my crepe myrtle.

09.01.2022 Welcome to the next episode of Kelli’s lunch. With training, I was a bit hungrier today so I added spinach leaves and some homemade turkey balls. I’m very much a creature of habit and am happy to eat similar meals day in, day out. I actually hate how Piddo wants different meals all the time. Why??... I also boiled a few extra eggs as I’m at work tomorrow and will take my lunch along so I’m already prepped for that. Downside... they were the last of my zucchini fritters. Time to make some more. What’s on your plate for lunch? PS note the difference in colour of farm fresh yolks.

06.01.2022 It’s not too bad in Bathurst when sitting in the sun. I won’t let go of my jacket though and I have somehow managed to wear the same coloured jacket, pants and backpack. This is what happens when I move away from black. I also have coffee all over me. Drive through coffee is never a good idea.

04.01.2022 No filter Well this is different. I tried the greens powder in the smoothie and it was not bad at all. I thought I was going to hate it. It’s one thing to put some baby spinach in there but quite another greens powder... Full ingredient list: Vanilla FeelFit protein... 04.01.2022 Back in Bathurst!! A little Monday morning advice: if you’re going to stop for coffee at 6am, make sure you stop at Macca’s. My car wouldn’t restart and thankfully there were plenty of people around to help me jump start it. So thankful for helping hands this morning. Let’s see how the next 3 days go and if my car will be parked for the entire time. ... Weren’t we just joking about this? Whoops the manifestation is strong in this one.

With a chicken loaf I made which wasn’t the best but it had been frozen so that could’ve been why. Topped with hummus because what’s a day without hummus?... I can't thank our volunteers enough ...for allowing the event to constantly go ahead. If you have never volunteered before, I urge you to put your hand up.
