23.01.2022 Before and after shots... you gotta love them! This is my client Allan and Husband to Kelly (previous post). Allan began his journey with ThinkFit at 120kg’s. It took an awful lot of convincing from Kelly to get him to come to ThinkFit. But since that first class Allan has never missed a beat. The after photo is at 101kg’s all done through pure blood sweat and tears. Small changes to nutrition and exercising and the weight started to drop off. He still has a little way to g...o but doesn’t he look great already? Again I must say this family have been an inspiration to me whilst they may not realise it. They have increased their life expectancy to be around for as long as they can for their two boys. They bought a camper and now travel the countryside and get to do the trails, swim in the ocean which were difficult things for them once upon a time. They are now teaching their boys the healthy way to live! Not to forget their sons come to training too... I met them as strangers but can honestly call them my friends now. 13.01.2022 Before and after photo’s.. gotta love em! This is Michael. He started training with ThinkFit in the beginning of 2011, but listen to his story! Prior to 2009 Mick was an A grade cricketer, packe a day smoker, drinker and all round party guy. Then on 15th August 2009 it all changed. He suffered a grade 4 brain aneurysm at work. Doctors had told his family to expect the worst. Survival rate of this grade of aneurysm was extremely low, and returning to a ‘normal’ lifestyle was... even lower. After lifesaving surgery and being in an induced coma for a week in ICU he slowly woke up but remained in hospital for another month before being transferred to Shenton Park Rehabilitation where he went through intense occupational therapy to get him back home. He began Physio with The State Head Injury Unit to build up core, strength and balance. Gym and running became the new normal and this is were his new therapy was discovered. He began training with ThinkFit in the beginning of 2011 and continues today in 2020. Strength and conditioning once a week and running the rest of the week. ThinkFit provided a proper running program to follow and basic nutrition (in the beginning) to see Mick run his first 1/2 marathon in August of that year. It progressed to a marathon and then an Ultra. 9 years on and I’m sure Mick knows more than me these days. On the 12th September he is hoping to run his longest distance to date in 24hours, Exceeding 163kms. We wish Mick the best of luck. Amazing story that I have loved watching and being by your side in most of your events.

07.01.2022 ThinkFit Iso Cape to Cape Challenge - Isolation kept ThinkFit on the ball for sure. To keep clients engaged and moving without skipping a beat we adapted to ISO life very quickly with 9 online classes ranging from Hiit, Weights, Mat Pilates, Yoga and Strength and Conditioning to cover the beginner, teenager and experienced fitness fanatic. All saved for clients in case they wanted to do the class all over again at no extra costs! - ThinkFit also organised (and a highlight du...ring Iso) the Cape to Cape Challenge. - 10 teams of 3 travelling as far as they could along the virtual 124km Cape to Cape trail for a period of 2 weeks. A mixture of kids (all of whom were team captains) walkers and runners to make up each team selected by myself to keep the playing field fare. It had to be a deliberate, intentional walk or run (or ThinkFit online class) to record the Kms. (It was not steps in a day) - It is with great pleasure to announce the winning team Ida, Des and Sharon who travelled a whopping 342.6 kms. Making the Cape to Cape there and back and almost there again! I will be presenting you each with your Cape to Cape medals and a $20 gift voucher thank you to @joeys.swanvalleydiner - All together the 10 teams covered an amazing 2155.23kms over the 14 days. - Competition was tough, morale was high, the children stepped up with encouragement to teams (as team leaders) and the drive was real. - Well done to all the teams, too many accolades to list. 05.01.2022 ThinkFit4Kids ITS THAT TIME AGAIN! With footy season now done I’m back to focus on improving health, fitness, stamina, strength, technique, gym safety with our young kids of today. ... So calling Expressions of interest for the school holidays... (yes sorry it’s late!) Hi - ThinkFit Personal Trainer Jackson Beck! I am offering to run a ‘Kids Bootcamp’! (Aged 12+). It will be a 60min session based out of Henley Brook on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 4pm-5pm (hopefully it doesn’t clash with any footy or netball or cricket etc). Knowing that some families will want to get a week away it will be either $30 for week 1 OR 2, or $50 for both week 1 and 2. The sessions will be capped at 10 per class - so first in best dressed! This is something new I will try with the kids unlike the usual sport specific training thats been done in the past. Hopefully this mini program will spice things up a little getting them down and dirty, sweaty and smelly, in more of a circuit style hard working environment whilst also having a tonne of fun. There will be 2 sessions a week with details as follows:... - Tuesday MetaFit Kids (4pm-5pm) - Thursday Kids Bootcamp (4pm-5pm) Each session will be full of fun, whilst containing challenging exercises and activities which will be tailored to suit the kids ages. With development squads being picked through the summer it’s vital you are fit and ready for pre-season selections. We hope your child can attend. 03.01.2022 Before and After photos! You gotta love ‘em! This is Kelly. Kelly started her journey with ThinkFit in February 2018. Kelly’s before photo was taken 3 months before joining Thinkfit weighing in at 122kg. ... What an incredible story Kelly has to share with everyone, who still trains with ThinkFit to this day and now weighs in at 67kg. Kelly did have the sleeve procedure but wanted to change her ‘unhealthy, obese’ lifestyle into a ‘healthy and fit’ one and not just rely on the sleeve to do its job. Anyone who says it’s the easy way out for weight loss is completely wrong. It’s a hard journey especially if you are like Kelly who wanted to change her whole mindset. We learnt so much together. She inspires me every week. Kelly’s first session she could not even do 20 squats, or 10 bench pushups but you would never know it today. ThinkFit spent hours researching nutrition and exercise for WSL clients and together with small changes over time Kelly now eats an impressive diet for any healthy enthusiast.
