25.01.2022 We have stepped up testing throughout Wollongong and the Illawarra. A drive-through clinic will open at Figtree Community Centre tomorrow at 10am, in addition t...o extended hours at clinics in the area. It is absolutely vital everyone immediately comes forward for testing if they have even the slightest COVID-19 symptoms. Please check the District website before attending a clinic to confirm opening hours: https://www.islhd.health.nsw.gov.au//covid-19-latest-advic Please remember to wear a mask on your way to the testing clinic, while waiting in line, and on your way home. After a test you must go straight home. There are more than 350 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW, many of which are open seven days a week. 1. Figtree pop-up drive-through COVID-19 Assessment clinic - Figtree Community Hall, 11 Princes Highway - Open from 10am on Wednesday, 30 December. Opening hours will then be 8am to 8pm daily until further notice. 2. Wollongong Hospital COVID-19 Assessment Clinic Lawson House, Wollongong Hospital - Loftus St, Wollongong. Extended opening hours: 8am to 8pm daily until further notice. 3. Shellharbour COVID-19 Assessment Clinic - 5/8 Memorial Drive, Shellharbour City Centre (note new location). Extended opening hours: 8am to 6pm daily until further notice. 4. Wollongong Southern IML Pathology drive-through testing clinic - 37 Denison Street, Wollongong. Extended opening hours: 8am to 8pm daily until further notice Bookings essential by phoning: 4224 7474 5. Our door will remain locked, our Doctors will continue to consult via telephone and your scripts will be sent directly to your nominated pharmacy. These processes are in place to protect our patients, staff, doctors and the community. ... We will continue to abide by the social distancing rules and limit the number of patients in the waiting room. Please respect our staff if they cannot offer you an appointment at the time you want, they are keeping you safe, not being difficult. Thankfully the Doctors at TMP are happy to see patients face to face if it is required, however, if it is not an emergency, please accept a telephone consultation first.
