14.01.2022 t was a wet TBQA Magic Millions Welcome BBQ, but after such a long, dry spell the rain was as welcome as the free food and drink. Opposition Racing Minister, John-Paul Langbroek attended and Chris Anderson was presented with the 2018 3YO QTIS Premiership Trainer's award on behalf of his partner Robert Heathcote. Robert had nine QTIS winners and amassed $233,400 QTIS prizemoney during the 2018 racing season.

For four generations, Raheen has stood as a symbol of family and connection. Basil Nolan is a third-generation Nudgee College boarder and current Vice Captain for Community and Boarding. Raised on the Raheen Stud in Gladfield, he and his family have lived and breathed race horses for generations.
