24.01.2022 A Toyota Hilux come to me this week from Ryan Bell to be fitted with a pair of Recaro bucket seats and a roll pan. Looking forward to having it back in the new year for more work watch this space.

24.01.2022 Little sneak peak at a current job I’m doing for myself at home. Finished photos to come on the weekend.

23.01.2022 Little fab job this morning. Had to make up a system to lift this fibreglass canopy off and be able to store it when not in use. Everything bolts together and then also bolts to existing mounts on the canopy.

23.01.2022 Last weekend we got busy and pulled down the hand rails on our patio and redid all the wire with stainless steel wire and fittings with copper swages. And also stripped all the paint off and repainted them in the same colour as the trim on the house. The old photo sort of shows what it did look like with 4 runs of wire and the old paint.

22.01.2022 Now onto the next project.

17.01.2022 A door I made at the start of the year has been installed now and looking good. Just has to be painted now. This has replaced a standard gate to make an area abit more water proof.

14.01.2022 This trailer came back for some more work over the past 2 weeks. Redid the floor with a new sheet of aluminium, moved the side bars down and added another front and rear bar on the ladder rack to allow for a canvas canopy, added side rails for tie downs and to seal the canopy to, welded the front gate shut made the rear gate swing to the side and put on a mount for a bike carrier.

14.01.2022 Today I was busy working on site at Robkin Transport in Toowoomba. I had to fix a couple of their truck gates by putting new feet on them and then had to make 2 completely new gates. I also had to re-weld a shock mount onto their trailer after some previously done repairs didn’t stop it from breaking off.

13.01.2022 A car I will be doing some work to pretty soon. Some people that know me, know that I enjoy car audio and the opportunity to work on what will possibly be Australia’s loudest car and will be Australia’s best demo car come up and I jumped at the challenge. Not going to be easy but I will get it done.

10.01.2022 Did a head board on a land cruiser tray today. This tray is getting a canopy made for it by a company in Brisbane, so I made a headboard to suit the new canopy height. The owner supplied all the steel for the job.

10.01.2022 Had this job this week. Made a head board for this chopped 80 series cruiser. This Ute usually has a canopy on it that takes up the tray. This bolts on so it can be removed to put the canopy back on again.

10.01.2022 Quick little job this arvo. Made a fire drum for a lady for a party this weekend. I already happened to have half a drum so welded some plates to it and then welded the legs to them and cut some slots into it to allow it to breath.

07.01.2022 Bit of an update on a current build. Notch plates and top top plate all on and welded as well as the new rear cross member, the 4 link is all tacked in place and now the diff is out for final welding of the chassis and welding all the brackets to the diff. Still waiting on the coil over springs to turn up so I can’t do the diff mounts for them yet.

07.01.2022 Well this Ute come to me back in February from Ryan Bell for a some big suspension changes. Since then I have done a chassis notch for more differential to chassis clearance and a 4 link and then put coil overs all round to replace the factory leaf springs in the rear and torsion bars in the front. Also put some new wheel tubs in the front and fixed the tub floor to clear the chassis notch and 4 link. Daniel Kelly did all the painting for me and I had help from a couple other guys to do the fuel system and auto electrical work. And today marks the end of the job with the Ute passing engineering and getting its modification plate.

05.01.2022 Made the most of the long weekend and made up some tray sides for this chopped 80 series cruiser. I had previously made a removable head board for it and now the owner wanted some sides made up. Stay tuned for pictures of them painted because this big rig is going for a paint job soon.

05.01.2022 Quick update on Ryan’s Ute. Rear end is almost complete now. Since my last post all 4 link mounts have been completely welded and gusseted, Coil over mounts for the diff have been drawn, cut and welded on, fuel tank mount has been made and awaits final welding to chassis, exhaust mounts have been made and modified and I have the QA1 coil overs mounted up and doing there job already and I also got the tub all cut out and the floor sitting how I want it to be. All I have left to do on the rear now is a jacking point, a mount for the brake bias adjuster and then finish the floor and wheel tubs in the tray.

03.01.2022 Made a new post for under our patio to replace the old ugly wooden post today. The old post had notch’s up the sides from old frame work that was there and it was starting to go rotten at the base. Now to paint it.

03.01.2022 Job that I finished last night on Brad Stevens cyclone Vito in preparation for this weekend at jamboree. Tight space so couldn’t fit the 2 alternators that we wanted to but still got 1 in there.

01.01.2022 Started the next job on the weekend. Got all the main bits tacked together and one half welded together tonight after work. These are called a monitoring column and get filled with dirt. The base plates have 1024 holes in. I drew up all the parts for these myself and then got them cut at my full time job which is at a laser cutters.
