I am very proud to be judging the fashions on the field at their inaugural Melbourne Cup event. There is a group of thoroughbred girls staying at Crown Plaza Terrigal NSW so it is action packed. Got to love that Zoe had her first attempt at entering fashions on the field and came away with a sash at Port Lincoln. Now she lines up with all the Fashionistas. While nervous she said is over the moon to be involved and is well aware she has no affiliation with the regular fashions on the field competitors. But this is what has grab...bed our attention. You can LOVE horses and go to the races and just happen to add an element of fashions (keeping it all in perspective). What a thrill for one of our fellow Thoroughbreds Girls. 02.01.2022 FRIEND IN NEED Andrew Taylor has been Clerk of the Course for around 20 years and has been joined in recent years by his beautiful bay horse Sam. Retired ra...cehorse Module (aka Sam) has played a huge part in picnic racing in Victoria and was given a new purpose as the Clerks horse. We're saddened to hear Sam was rushed into emergency surgery for intestinal issues late last night. The financial costs will be high given he'll need to be rehabilitated for a full recovery.
