25.01.2022 Recently I was invited to join a collaboration of wedding suppliers who were "whipping up" a wedding for an Adelaide couple - Pete and Emma. At the start of this year, whilst planning their wedding, Pete was taken sick and it was discovered he had advanced brain cancer. Wedding plans were cancelled as the couple and their young blended family of 7 focused on Petes health and ensuing treatment. Meanwhile a lady named Jane heard of their story and decided to try and make a wed...ding happen for them anyway. She began calling suppliers, myself included, to ask for help. It was my absolute pleasure to gift these personalised robes to Emma and her bridal party. The beautiful wedding took place on 7th July giving the family some very treasured memories. 09.01.2022 June 30 - Today is my final day at the helm of Threads Embroidery and Tosca Mico - Bridal Party Gifts - time for me to retire and to introduce my daughter Mik...ayla Martin who will be taking over the business. What an amazing ten years it has been building a business out of nothing and I want to thank my fantastic family for their continual support and encouragement, and of course huge thanks and appreciation to every single person who has supported "Threads" over the years. Ill be helping Mikayla as she finds her feet so we can make the transition as seamless as possible and keep business as usual for all of our fabulous customers.
