25.01.2022 Big thanks to Ben Payne, Allison Guest, matt McKinnon and John Finn for their support of the club by working in the bar at Riverway Stadium tonight during the AFL Grand Final. It was a sensational afternoon/evening watching the Grand Final on the BIG screen.

25.01.2022 Looking for volunteers tomorrow afternoon at 5:00 onwards to help produce the Grand Final Banners for the Reserves and Senior teams. The banners will be a little different this year as we don't have to cut out letters. Craig from CD Imagery has donated the lettering already printed on vinyl so we just need to make the banners and tape the vinyl onto the crepe paper. Please bring a pair of socks so you can walk on the banners... Many hands will make the task easy. Please comment if you are able to help.

18.01.2022 Today we finish our 2020 campaign and the committee of the Bulldogs would like to thank our parents, our volunteers, our coaching staff, our coaches, our sponsors and our Supporters for their efforts during this very different season. We wish everyone involved all the luck and success today. 2020 has been successful. Increased membership, loyal and patient sponsors and a good culture. 17.01.2022 Thuringowa Bulldogs Junior Presentation 2020, congrats to all of this year's crop and the award winners in every age group. The Luke Powell nominees for 2020 were; Ashton Starkey (Under 9.5's), James Louwen-Skovdam (Under 11.5's Blue), Ruby Young (Under 11.5's Red), Jordan Murtha (Under 13.5's Red), Nieve Ryan (Under 13.5's Blue), Emma Tollan (Youth Girls), Lachlan Tapp (Under 15.5's) and Thomas Johnston (Under 17.5's), congrats to Thomas Johnston (TJ) on winning the award in memory of Luke, it was mentioned that TJ in many ways was so much like Luke. This coming weekend the club will be competing in the 13.5's, 15.5's, 17.5's, Youth Girls, Reserves and Senior Grand Finals at the Stadium and any help and support will be most appreciated #oneclubonefamily

17.01.2022 The time has come to nominate a team for the 2021 Charters Towers Goldfield Ashes. For those who don't know what the Goldfield Ashes is about we get to play three games of cricket in Charters Towers along with 200 other teams. Next year the Ashes will be played on Saturday the 23rd, Sunday 24th & Monday 25th January. The Bulldogs have a long history of playing in the Ashes and we will again look to nominate a team. You don't have to be a Steve Smith or a fast bowler, if you can hold a cricket bat then your in. Team nominations are due in no later than this coming Friday so let John Finn know or reply to this post if you are keen. Just ask anyone who has been to the Ashes and they will tell you how great it is.

15.01.2022 GRAND FINAL DAY VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED. The Club has been able to secure the Canteen and Bar at Riverway Stadium for the Grand Final on Saturday. The Club is also competing in 6 of the 7 grades. This fantastic situation means that our volunteer base will be stretched. As such we are asking for your help. We are looking for gate attendents, canteen and bar staff, scoreboard operators, ground marshalls (COVID officers). We need to cover from about 8.00am to 7.00pm in some of these... roles. No job is complicated and we will ensure that volunteers are not stuck in a position and not able to enjoy the day and more importantly miss a game that they want to be involved in. The aim is to have a roster for the roles with times of say 1 hour each. If you can lend us some time please respond to this post and the Club will organise for the Roster to be updated regularly and displayed on this page.
