22.01.2022 Great Event - Children's Christmas Party at Russian Club Straithfield, was a success. Thank you to all who contributed to its success. Children especially appreciated it!

21.01.2022 Dear RCL members and supporters, I haven't written to you for a while, however during this extraordinary period that's upon us all, I want to state that the Club has not forgotten you. The Club has closed under government directions during the Coronavirus outbreak. This mandatory closure obviously will have an impact on our business however I can assure you that the Club is in a sound financial position notwithstanding the closure of our leased area to the restaurant which is... also subject to the closure. I was saddened to inform our two bar persons Pavel and Dima that their services were suspended during the closure. The Club will support them in anyway possible through this extraordinary and tragic period for all Australians. The hard work that your Board has undertaken over the last 3 plus years will hopefully be to your satisfaction as our Club will still be there and ready trade once the restrictions are lifted. To allay any fears you may have, the gas and electricity are still connected although nearly all the fridges & cool room have been switched off to minimise any unnecessary costs. I have heard that the rumours have started to the effect that the Club will be sold. This is not the case as outlined above. The rumour mongering must stop as it only upsets other members. We want the Club to be there and trading in 2024! We all need to support each other during this crisis. You can contact us by our Club's phone number (will only be checked weekly), through our general or google email address or you contact me directly on the mobile phone number shown on the Club's website should you need to ask anything specific about the arrangements in place during the closure. I will update you in the future should anything change. The Board wishes that all of you and your loved ones remain healthy by following all government guidelines in minimising risk. Следуя рекомендациям Австралийского Правительства по отмене массовых мероприятий, Русский Клуб в Стратфилде останавливает проведение всех ранее запланированных встреч и мероприятий.
