03.01.2022 REPICTURING DISABILITY PHOTOSHOOT Hi FB friends, I'm looking for people who may be interested in being in front of my camera for a stock photo shoot for the Can...on This Is Australia stock image collection with Getty Images. This brief invites photographers to portray disability as a natural part of someone’s identity, instead of something that needs to be fixed or overcome. The call is for images and video where disability itself is not the focus and instead people with disabilities are pictured living and enjoying their everyday life. I have to capture content that shows everyday scenarios like going to school, work, park, beach or hanging out with friends and family on weekends. Or perhaps show people interacting with technology: Including chilling at home watching a movie on their tv, laptop or tablet. Or people getting out and about, chatting on the phone, texting or scrolling through social media on their daily commute. Capture concepts and real emotions that signify inclusion, independence, leadership, confidence, success, pride, power, love, respect and togetherness.
