21.01.2022 In case you missed it -- from Southern Rural News, 15 July 2020. The proposal to put a road through our precious wetland has been rescinded. Council has heeded the community and commonsense has prevailed.

21.01.2022 A pocket sized wildlife sanctuary that serves as habitat as well as a quiet place to walk, bird-watch or just commune with nature.

20.01.2022 Presentation to Council OFF the agenda, 24/3/2020. Matters relating to COVID 19 on the agenda instead.

19.01.2022 A bit more hope today for the future of Tiddalik Wetland. Murrumbidgee Council has rescinded the proposal about putting a road through the wetland block. Now, Friends of Tiddalik need to keep up the pressure. For some wonderful inspiration, check out Facebook page, 'Farming town pulls off epic backyard blitz....' If they can do it, so can we.

08.01.2022 A presentation will be made to Murrumbidgee Council next Tuesday, 24 March, at meeting starting 1 p.m., in support of Tiddalik Wetland and Sanctuary. This is our first chance to state our case to Council, who want to demolish the area. Over 100 residents recently signed a petition in support of this community asset, that has great tourist potential. Anyone wishing to support the cause ( and not currently 'locked down' or sick), be at the Darlington Point Council rooms at that time.

05.01.2022 SAVE ME -- SAVE MY HABITAT. Tiddalik Wetland and Sanctuary at Darlington Point is in DANGER. FRIENDS OF TIDDALIK WETLAND --- Did you know that Murrumbidgee Council has proposed putting a ROAD through the block dedicated as the Wetland ? (Council meeting, 26 May 2020). Do you want this to happen? All those people who signed the recent petition to save the Wetland don't -- they want it kept and cared for. Let Council know your feelings.
