25.01.2022 11 holes down, 15 to go! A lot of people don’t realise that the earthing of equipment in a pool area whether it’s a light fitting, ladder, pool fence etc should be done by an electrician and not the pool builder or fencer Most of them say they’ve never heard of it needing to be done...that’s because they don’t own a copy of the electrical standards!... Use professionals and get the job done properly

22.01.2022 Before and after shots of these ceiling fans getting an upgrade at today’s job. Also a bonus shot of the pendant lights we installed there a few weeks ago!

22.01.2022 We engaged Brad from @dlighting4080 for this job to help with the lighting design and as you can see his services never disappoint! We made sure everything lined up perfectly either side of the bed which we think makes the art piece above the bed head really stand out! We also love the stairwell lighting against the concrete and tiles

21.01.2022 Here we have some snaps from a few of the jobs over the last couple of weeks The first one we decided the ceiling in the kitchen needed something to break it up a bit and steer away from all of the downlights throughout the house and we managed to do that with this awesome looking pendant light over the island bench from @beaconlighting Next up we had these @havitlighting copper wall lights to install but having exposed timber everywhere we had to have either visible cables... or conduit which would have ruined the look So we came up with the idea of keeping the copper theme and hiding the cables inside some copper pipe We also got to string up some festoon lighting at @hungry_wolfs_wyoming to give the outdoor seating area a comfortable and inviting feel to it Lastly, along with fixing up some lighting in this store we were asked to re-install some shelving which had come down and needed some reinforcing after a customer stood on a shelf and it all came crashing down We thought that it was different to the electrical work we are used to but when customers are in need we like to do whatever we can

21.01.2022 There was very limited instructions for this rangehood ducting kit so we thought we had take step by step pictures and showcase the effort that goes into getting it done right Not only do you need to ensure it is 110% sealed and water right but also you want everything to be straight and clean so everything sits and looks perfect! We couldn’t fit all of the photos in one sequence so the rest of the progress shots are to come @ Terrigal, New South Wales

21.01.2022 There’s always a solution to a problem! We had timber and colorbond flashing in the way of ducting this rangehood through the roof so we had to step it out a bit Once installed we came up with the idea of getting a stainless steel box made up to hide the ducting...and how bloody good does it look?! @ Chittaway Bay

20.01.2022 New tools will always put you in a good mood

19.01.2022 Would you believe this a TV and not a picture frame?! We got to help @centreforneurodiversity upgrade their new space in Tuggerah and we think they’ve chosen very well for their reception area TV!

18.01.2022 Full on makeover for this kitchen in Bateau Bay! First up we removed all of the old appliances, ready for the kitchen cabinets to be sprayed. Installed all new appliances, lighting and exhaust through the tiled roof (as the rangehood wasn’t ducted outside to get rid of all of the greasy air ). ... We even made and installed a custom black metal surround for the oven to hide all of the gaps and uneven cuts. Unfortunately I didn’t get any before photos of the old kitchen but take our word on how much better it looks and feels!

17.01.2022 Another job completed with another happy customer It’s reviews like these that let you know you’re making a difference These were some tricky pendant lights to put together while being up on some high ceilings but we got it done and don’t they look awesome?!

16.01.2022 It’s been a busy couple of months for us here at Tide Electrical but you can always count on us to remember to take progress shots We attended this property on a Sunday night with no power a little while back and agreed with the customer it was time for an upgrade We booked in to upgrade the switchboard, safely and correctly remove the asbestos panel, upgrade the consumers mains and point of supply but despite getting rained on all morning we still got it done along side @c...oast.complete.electrical Looks so much better and is safer for the customer and the rest of the family @ Bateau Bay, New South Wales

15.01.2022 We got to install this lovely pendant light at the @centreforneurodiversity which works an absolute treat It adds a real comforting feel to their office space and looks great in doing so

14.01.2022 Hung this TV up on the wall this afternoon but it looks like a painting how good?!

14.01.2022 Posted @withregram @stewartwestwood Alright guys and girls it’s time to donate to a good cause we’ve got going here Myself and 6 other mates have decided to partake in The Push-Up Challenge to try and raise money for Headpsace Headspace focuses on helping people with mental health issues and have come up with this challenge to help those people in need... The challenge is 3,046 push-ups over 21 days BUT We have decided to challenge the challenge and are completing 100 push-ups a day each for 30 days So far in 5 days we have completed nearly 4,000 push-ups All we ask is that you click on the link provided and donate whatever you can https://www.thepushupchallenge.com.au/team/15159-rory-boys

14.01.2022 Installed this beautiful black and brass pendant from @beaconlighting to break up the ceiling and light up the island bench

13.01.2022 Another switchboard upgrade completed yesterday with some help from @coast.complete.electrical doing the level 2 work for us Better protection with RCBO safety switches for every circuit, safe removal and disposal of the old asbestos panel and a new earth stake to finish it all off Ready for the kitchen install with @btc_joinery @ Gorokan, New South Wales

11.01.2022 Another switchboard upgrade completed this week for one of our customers looking to fix up this recently purchased property We also needed to relocate the point of supply attached to the front of the house so what better way to do that than to get rid of it all together! We got the boys in from @mearsconcreting to dig a new trench for us and do a bit of landscaping around the place at the same time... Along with @coast.complete.electrical we upgraded the mains to a 3 phase UGOH which did away with any need for another pole within the property So much tidier and all within a days work

11.01.2022 Following on from the previous post we have here the end result of this rangehood installation with a steel roof ducting kit Don’t mind the soapy water marks over the rangehood we had to let the Sika flex dry for 24 hours before the customer could clean the stainless steel @ Terrigal, New South Wales
