19.01.2022 A major reason I started building Tidy was because of the value of community. The feeling that you get when you walk into a place full of like-minded people you feel connected, you find friends, you find common ground which is only more important as we find ourselves even more disconnected with technology. When I walked into the West Coast AFC I barely even followed the game let alone know anyone, but there was a guy that greeted me with sincerity sprinkled with profanity an...d he was going to have a profound effect on the way I looked at football clubs and much of why I think so highly of community groups still today. Gary Clune was always ready to help, clean up, raise some money, tell blokes to get on with it, to pull their finger out, even umpired and played when we were desperate, he wore his heart on his sleeve and the clubs best all round person award is named in his honour. Cluney caused me much aggravation as President with his old-school ways, but this is also what made him such a powerful character - he didnt lead with systems and processes he led with love. His own form of love, but love all the same. I and the entire community have lost one of the best, he gave me and everyone in the club an understanding about the world we didnt even know we needed. Thanks for the random calls and the pats on the back mate, your pep talks and ultimately for making me feel loved down at West Coast. This is what being part of a club feels like. Cheers, Isaak #RIPCluney

08.01.2022 Yes, were bringing back our regularly scheduled Friday transmissions. Given so much chaos in our world, we thought it would be nice to catch up again on a regular basis!

08.01.2022 Hi everyone, its fair to say were in unchartered waters. COVID-19 is bringing a change to the entire world and its clear that lots of things are going to have to shift around in order to help us cope. At Tidy, we have been doing everything we can to keep business as usual, but were also accepting that its not business as usual. We know that you are probably feeling just as anxious and nervous about your personal situation as well as how your organisation will run in the... future - we also feel this. Reacting to the latest announcements and while not wanting to predict too far into the future we do know that the way organisations need to run will be the new normal for the next little while so we are planning some improvements - and as always we need your help and understanding and support. Like any small business, we need to keep things running and the lights on, that means making sure were still a valuable part of how your organisation is run. We will be doing the following to assist you and your organisation: - integrating video calling for meetings, we know many groups already run remote meetings with our platform, we want more groups to be able to do this more easily. - improve our website functionality, making it easier to run and work on mobile. - improve other aspects of collaboration, we know many already use Roles, but there is more we can do here. - regular Facebook Friday video calls to give you the latest updates. - we will run some all in Zoom calls so you as administrators can share how youre handling things... many, many others would like to hear how youre managing. - more webinars on how to use the platform. - other improvements to the Contacts areas for better searching and filtering is underway making it easier and smarter to communicate to the right people. So, if you could help us by helping each other - you are not alone. This will help us to focus on the core needs of our member-driven organisations all over the world - we are confident that we can continue to help groups run their communities, its more important than ever. We are continuing to work hard every day, but this is a very challenging time and we will only get through this if we work together. Thank you for your support. Isaak and the TidyHQ team.
