17.01.2022 SUNDAY ADVENTURE: This Woombye to Palmwoods trail is a little gem newly added to our adventure.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au website. This is a 4.7km ride or wal...k between townships and it's rated as an easy safe and sealed track. The hilly hinterland stretch makes this a perfect workout or for those with little legs, maybe it's time to push the bike for a bit! https://adventure.sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au//TrailDetailsVi This is one of our new neighbourhood trails, that takes in urban areas, because adventure is everywhere on the Coast so we are spoiled for choice! It's a good idea to print the map or have it available on your phone as these trails are not marked in the way a bush trail would be. If you try it this weekend, tell us who you rode or walked with and how you found the trail - you'll be helping others choose their next adventure. You can submit your feedback onto the #adventuresunshinecoast site for us to review and for fellow users to make note. There are now over 200 trails right across the Sunshine Coast!

15.01.2022 The Dig Tree, Face Tree and Brae's Tree are all extremely important in the history of the Outback. A lot of work has gone into preserving these trees with boar...dwalks as well as resin moulds on interpretive signage so you can feel what the carving felt like. The road is open so head on out. You'll get to meet Norm the Ranger who will make you feel welcome. Firewood is not available so please take your own.
