Every year we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our community, who come to our annual cake stall to support this great cause. Last good Friday we raised over $5,500, and this year we aim to raise $6,000. All the time and ingredients that go into creating these cakes and cupcakes are... dontated, so every single cent spent at our good Friday cake stall goes directly to the Good Friday Appeal to support the royal children's hospital. 23.01.2022 Wow! We smashed our goal of raising over $6k with an amazing total of $6,901.25 raised for the Good Friday Appeal! What an effort from everyone involved! A massive thank you to everyone who helped bake and decorate (even by candle light when the power went out on Thursday night), everyone who gave up time on a public holiday to help out at the stall, and of course, every single person who came past and made a donation and bought a cake or cupcakes! We hope all the families who came along had a really lovely day Thanks for letting us be a small part of it, and thank you to Cake Angels for connecting us On the table for the parents were toblerone cheesecake tarts and salted caramel mouse tarts and for the kiddies a jar or chocolate crackles, a jar of lemon slice, another of cookies, jelly cups, popcorn, chocolates, lollies and of course there was also the white chocolate and chocolate mud balloon cake

08.01.2022 Avatar Korra! Any Last Airbender/ Legend of Korra fans here? I loved both series, based in a world made up of 4 nations, the earth, air, water and fire nation, where people were able to 'bend' (control) their nations element. In this world there is a single Avatar at a time, the only person who can bend all 4 elements. So here we have Avatar Korra, mastering her bending! It was a lot of fun to make such a strong female character and play around with a bunch of different textures and mediums! Oh, and the cake is chocolate mud, with layers of Jaffa balls on the inside!
