We are proud to introduce finely crafted cutting boards (25cm X 44cm) to our artisan stock available for $65.00 each. All topped with a little bit of foam...mmmmm.... $5.00 We've discovered that it is very difficult to find quality dark chocolate Easter eggs...so we have gone to some trouble to find these. We tried it with milk chocolate - and we discovered that it carries a bunch of insoluble solids. We didn't want to do that to you, so we have gone for the quality dark eggs. So, what is happening over Easter at The Tiers Tea Lounge? Sadly, for all our patrons, we will be closed over Easter and re-opening on Anzac Day, Thursday 25 April. 03.01.2022 The Tiers Tea Lounge NO-LOW WASTE Policy https://www.tierstealounge.com.au/no-low-waste... At The Tiers Tea Lounge, we make every effort within the limitations of health regulations, to where we possibly can, create no waste or keep it to the barest minimum. We've been calling this No to Low Waste (No-Low Waste). This applies to both the food products and the way we use cooking, cleaning and packaging materials. All of our take-away materials are readily compostable or recyclable, including drinking straws, plates, cups and wooden cutlery. Coffee and tea 'waste' is all re-used for composting. Surplus food at the end of the trading week somehow becomes non-surplus, by various means. Sometimes health regulations seem incompatible with our desire to be no-low waste. Biscuit packs on display must be contained in sealed clear wrapping. Each night we have little choice but to cover the food in a cling wrap to keep the products fresh and to prevent them becoming contaminated. Any cling wrap plastic we use is all offered up to soft plastic recycling. One way to reduce waste is to increase the life and freshness of our fruit and vegetables. A great product we have started using with great success is an Indian spice infused product called 'Fresh Sheets'.

01.01.2022 Special notice to Poatina guests & residents As we all know, the Hard Enduro https://www.facebook.com/HardEnduroTas/ & https://www.hardendurotas.com/... is on in hometown Poatina this weekend (23-24 June 2018). On Sunday 24 June, The Tiers Tea Lounge is setting up for drinks at the finish line located at the Poatina Golf Clubhouse. Consequently the Lounge in the Village Green will be closed and relocated to the Golf Clubhouse from 2 pm. 24 June 2018, 2pm The Tiers Tea Lounge will be relocated to the Poatina Golf Club coffees, hot chocolate, chai and teas available at the Club.
