20.01.2022 I cant believe how much things have changed in the past month. I feel incredibly lucky to have been asked to stream a live show from Pistol Petes next weekend. I am starting to go nuts without any live shows to look forward to. I know it will be strange without you guys there to create a vibe, but if heaps of you tune in with a drink in hand and some of Petes food delivered to your door by the very waiting staff that used to serve you...things will start to feel a bit bet...ter. Obviously you can also tune in from locations that Pete Raimondo cant deliver to but the sentiment is still the same. So next Saturday May 2 at 9pm Ill be playing a live set for you guys at home. Well give details in the event page so keep an eye out for that. Ps. I fell under the lawn mower...as you can see.

08.01.2022 I met a really lovely couple, Mariechen Vielleicht and Anton Mamyko, at Beneath Driver Lane last time I played there. They were travellers from Ireland (I think) and were just passing through Melbourne. Anton was carrying a camera and taking a few shots of the place and he snapped a few of me while I was performing. I left them a business card and we did a bit of a CD barter on the chance that there were some useable shots in there. ... This week he sent me a few.... How good are these two?

03.01.2022 I'm about to quietly drop another album...It's so beautiful and different that I hardly know what to do with it. For years I've had punters come up after shows and ask "Have you got any CDs with you just playing the slide guitar like that?"...because I often go off on instrumental tangents and improvisations during live shows...but I've never had anything to give those people because all of my albums to date have been band recordings. Well that's about to change. This week ...I'll be releasing "In The Arms Of The Earth" to the world...but though it's very dear to me and I think it's the most gorgeous thing I've ever made, it's not a "commercial" album...It would surprise me if it gets any radio airplay at all, so I won't be touring it or making a big fuss. I just want you to know that it exists and encourage you to have a listen if you get the chance. I hope it becomes one of those underground rarities that people discover and fall in love with because it's NOT the usual. More to come later in the week. See more
