25.01.2022 The November service to Monto will be the last for the year. Our service will resume in February 2017 with dates announced @ mid January. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who have used the service over the past year and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a bright and prosperous New Year. Also a big thank you to Matt and Dan and their respective staffs in Monto for making the effort to make things run as smooth as they do(well most of the time) Timitch Hill Ent will continue to operate over the Christmas break for any animal movements or general freight(refrigerated or otherwise)

08.01.2022 In the last couple of months I have had a number of enquirys to the requirements of the sender in relation to paperwork etc. To make use of our service you must have NVD/pig pass to accompany the animal and the animal must meet the Qld requirements for identification(brand tattoo etc. Any exemption must be noted on the paperwork) In addition to this we will give you a id number to paint on the animal and this number will remain with it through processing. The id number is the... number to quote on the breakdown sheets and will appear either on the cartons or on the abbotoir tag when delivered to where ever it has to go. This system should ensure the animal you send is the animal you get back. This is only a small operation and so far we have made very few mistakes and we aim to keep it that way. 04.01.2022 Biggenden Meatworks continues to operate over the Christmas /New Year break Private kills available with retuning services to Rockhampton area two times a week. Services are normally Sunday night Monday morning and Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Butcher available inhouse to break bodies down to your specification or return back to Rockhampton to the butcher of your choice as body beef/pork etc. Services will be affected by the Christmas break.
