The decision of MNA v The State of Western Australia [2020] WASCA 84 was handed down today, after it was successfully argued that the trial judge erred in directing the jury as to the manner in which they could use propensity evidence. The Court of Appeal unanimously agreed that the appeal should be allowed and the convictions set aside. Our client was released from prison earlier this afternoon after the judgement was delivered....
