21.01.2022 If you're getting a few Easter Eggs make sure to scrunch all your Easter chocolate foil into a big ball so it can be recycled. Aluminium foil is 100% recyc...lable and recycling it saves 95% of the energy required to produce aluminium from raw materials. Top tip: Make sure it's at least the size of a golf ball, clean and dry. Also, check your local council does recycle aluminium foil by checking their website. If you still fancy a few Easter eggs we still have a few online and they're now a little bit cheaper! https://bit.ly/3tXQmBf

21.01.2022 Greetings arborists, landscape designers, urban greening policy and practitioners and growers, You may already be aware of the fabulous research that Macquarie ...Uni and partners have been doing in forecasting the tolerance of our urban trees, shrubs and other plants to changing urban environments. The project is now ready to take the next important step to combine those learnings with industry knowledge and experience to develop an online plant selector tool. After visiting your colleagues in several other Australian cities, the Which Plant Where Roadshow lands in Brisbane on March 19th. Book your place at the table! The Right Plant In The Right Place - Now and Tomorrow The Which Plant Where program is a five-year series of research that will find out where current favourites are unlikely to thrive under the more extreme climates that Australian cities face, learn from past successes, and stress-test major landscape species to find opportunities for new species and varieties to be planted. https://www.whichplantwhere.com.au/ https://www.eventbrite.com.au/e/which-plant-where-2020-nati

03.01.2022 BREAKING: Queensland school students will learn at home for the first five weeks of Term 2, with schools only open for the children of essential workers. The mo...ve to the home-based learning model starts on Monday, 20 April and will be in place until at least Friday, 22 May. All students who can learn from home are to stay at home. School staff, unless they are vulnerable due to medical conditions, will continue to teach from the classroom to ensure continuity of learning for students. Children of essential workers and vulnerable children can continue to attend school. This is another very difficult decision, but it is the right one for Queensland while we continue to slow the spread of COVID-19. #coronavirusaustralia
