16.01.2022 Anyone in the Inverell area wishing to donate food, dry goods, tin food and long life products can do so to VRA at Medora Street Inverell until 4pm today 16th February. Specials thanks to those who have already donated and those who are going to do so, we appreciate your kindness. Clothing donations are not required at this point in time, thank you.

08.01.2022 Well our time here in Tingha is drawing to a close so I will take this opportunity to thank you Tingha for having us. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this wonderful community and involving myself in anything that time allowed. Each and everyone of you played a part in our lives some becoming like my family. The police families and the TCAI committee and anyone who included us, made us welcome and took the time to get to know us, thank you. I will miss you Tingha and... the people I have met along the way. Be proud of your town it is great place, don’t be afraid to get involved and pitch in where needed your help is always appreciated. You only need turn up to an event and make the offer. This last week has been a roller coaster of emotions, packing, cleaning and watching as fire surrounded the town and seeing how wonderful people come together for the better good. Again thank you to all emergency service personnel and in particular the firies from here and throughout NSW Who protected and saved as much as you could throughout a ghastly event. New beginnings are waiting for us in Broken Hill. TINGHA I will miss you! Therese Weller See more

05.01.2022 Tingha residents are advised that Inverell VRA will be bringing supplies of dry goods and fresh produce for our residents. This will be available from 1pm today at the Tingha Sport & Rec Club.

02.01.2022 I think it safe to say a good time was had by all at the Tingha Tin Festival. Many thanks to all the volunteers, stall holders and amusement providers - you certainly contributed to a successful day. So many people behind the scenes working tirelessly to give the children and families of Tingha a fun-filled day, followed by the red carpet event and the crowning of the Tin Princesses and the very first Tin Prince. My apologies for the delay in posting photos.

01.01.2022 Due to the recent and continuing bush fires Tingha Citizens in agreement with the RFS has decided to cancel the Chinese lantern Festival. This is for the safety of all persons.
