23.01.2022 The Gateway Program for kids with special needs is NOW available! I just bought the program so will start learning how to teach it. If your child has special needs give me a call to book in a free info session over the next few months...then we can get started! Wouldnt it be great to be able to communicate through music together!

21.01.2022 When I started learning the piano at the age of 6 I had to learn how to read the dots on the page BEFORE I was able to play anything like this! This piece called Dreams Come True is the first piece I teach my students! Notice... BOTH hands are playing together!! And its not even boring!! AND it only takes one lesson to learn! Woo hoo! The Simply Music Program is EFFICIENT to say the least! Which is great because after all people come to me because they want to learn how to PLAY the piano!! Not dread it! Stay tuned for more videos!!!

20.01.2022 The founder of Simply Music, Neil Moore, talks about how Simply Music started.

19.01.2022 Science knows it! I know it! Now its your turn to experience it!

19.01.2022 Thanks to mum and dad for entering me into, and encouraging me to persist with, 10 years of learning the piano from age 6 - 16. I may not have played a scale fo...r years but I regularly sit down at the piano and play a favourite tune, learn a new one or just create some music. It is a real joy in my life. It turns out there have probably been some other benefits for me as well!!! "If your parents forced you to practice your scales by saying it would "build character," they were onto something. The Washington Post reports that one of the largest scientific studies into musics effect on the brain has found something striking: Musical training doesnt just affect your musical ability it provides tremendous benefits to childrens emotional and behavioral maturation." Thanks to Graham G for the link.

18.01.2022 Learning piano in a shared lesson IS not only possible with the Simply Music program ... its MORE educational and fun! The students learning environment is enriched because they have the additional benefit of learning by watching and listening to the others in the group... Plus they are encouraged by their fellow students ...... They get more experience playing in front of others ... And a little bit of competition encourages them to practice more than normal! I can teach between 2-6 people over the age of 8 at a time. (Adults LOVE shared lessons by the way! Especially groups of women... ) Already have a group of friends who want to learn piano? Or want to find out if theres a group available at the moment? Contact me!

18.01.2022 There are still a few spots available at my FREE info session for those wanting to play the piano this year!! Happy New Year!! .

17.01.2022 Piano lessons starting this week! See you soon!Piano lessons starting this week! See you soon!

15.01.2022 My new piano studio!

14.01.2022 You’re NEVER too old to learn the piano! And here’s proof! Peter is 85 and comes along every week for his piano lesson. He’s whizzing through the program (because he loves to practice... and practice makes improvement ) and looks forward to learning the next ‘bit’ each week. Seeing him feel that sense of accomplishment as he learns a new ‘tune’ fills me with joy And once again I feel grateful for the genius mind of Neil Moore who created this program with the ...one goal: to give ANYONE of ANY AGE immediate access to being able to express themselves through music. If you are retired and looking for a new hobby that feeds your soul and keeps your mind active how about coming along to a FREE info session or call me 0419285500 and we can arrange a time that suits you to have initial chat. Shared lessons are also available (and cheaper!) so grab your friends and bring them along! Would be fun to share a hobby together! Chat soon!

14.01.2022 The Simply Music Method is all about getting people PLAYING the piano ... quickly and easily. which IS the reason why people want to have piano lessons right? To be able to just sit at a piano (even without music) and PLAY music! Not Mary Had a Little Lamb (BORING) ... an actual interesting and fun piece of music! Become a real musician and learn how to play blues, classical, popular, accompaniments as well as learn how to improvise and compose your own music! I have a degree in music and still think this method would have taught me more about being a musician if it was available back then! See you on the 12th or 19th Jan 11 - 12 for a quick overview of the program! Bring your questions!

13.01.2022 The piano studio is still getting ready thanks to hubby whos painting painting in between working working. Lessons will be starting in the second week of Feb this year! There are still places available on Thursdays at 4pm and 5pm. And some places on Tuesday mornings for homeschool kids or adult students available on weekdays... 11am and 12. Let me know if you have any questions about the Simply Music program or the way I teach and run my studio. I also run play with music and sound sessions for those kids not into structured piano lessons. Call to chat! 0419285500

12.01.2022 If a chicken can play the piano so can you!

10.01.2022 Ready to have piano lessons? Come and find out more at this info session or the next one on the 19th April 10-11am. For kids AND adults!

08.01.2022 I inherited my Grandma’s piano about 20 years ago. Her last name was ‘Tinka’. She was an awesome pianist and encouraged me with all her heart from age of 5 to learn how to play the piano too. So I did! I left school on Thursdays 30 mins earlier (I’m SO special...) to get to my lesson at 3:15 at the Fremantle Music School and learnt the traditional way. When I was 16 after doing my AMEB piano grade 6 I quit so I could focus more on practicing the big double bass with the... intention to study music at uni. Did that. Got that degree. Now doing what I do! I’m ever so grateful to my family for paying for my lessons, getting me to my lessons, making me practice, listening to all my mistakes and concerts, encouraging me to keep on going even when I really didn’t want to sometimes... and to my snuggly loving Grandma, who we called ‘Rene’, for her beautiful piano which is probably about 100 years old now and in perfect condition. Now you know a bit of history about my piano and I I hope you get to learn how to play on Rene’s piano too one day . I know she would love that it is being used to teach people how to play too! As long as my students ‘wash their dirty hands before playing it!’ ... or she will be rolling around in her grave that’s for sure! Want to find out more about the method I teach and meet my piano and I? Check out FREE info session details in the Events or in links in Comments. Or just message me!
