17.01.2022 With all that is going on in the world at the moment, I want to remind you that now is the time... to take your own pace. I have seen a million posts on exercising, eating right, getting your business plan done, starting your own business and people telling me that now is the time to.... I want to remind you that you do this at your own pace. People posting are well meaning, but they may be in a totally different space to you. So if you are ready to do things or when you ...feel like doing things, pick it up and do it. When you don't, be kind to yourself and do what you need to do. Curl up in a blanket with a book, play blocks with your toddler, bake, exercise or grab your laptop... but do it when you want and can. Be kind to yourself and do what works for you if being busy and doing something NOW is what you want to do, the GO FOR IT! If you need space for yoga and walks and just being, then DO IT, your time will come around when you want to GO FOR IT, until then take it easy and be kind to yourself and what your mind and body are telling you that you need. Take the pressure down and do things in your own time (p.s. 12.01.2022 Is this the understatement of what we are going through at the moment? Through all this uncertainty there is one thing I know that is certain, I need to focus on what I can control. Easier said than done, but when faced with uncertainty we need to control what we can and adapt to what we can't. Over the coming weeks I'm going to start sharing some stories of clients and small businesses that have adapted during these times. 06.01.2022 Are looking for an easy way to create beautiful graphics, infographics, facebook posts, instagram posts...etc etc etc (seriously it is like that... you can practically create anything!) then Canva is the platform you need to look at. At the moment I am starting to have a play in it... creating some things which are useful but mostly just having a play and not pressuring myself to create the perfect post (because who needs that pressure right now?)! It has a free plan that all...ows you access to a lot of content and features. Now I'm going to put it out there... I am NOT an expert in Canva! April from @bossladybrain has created a youtube training with the basics. I recommend watching her video then jumping on Canva and giving it a go!
