Only 2 years into teaching drama to secondary students Miss Mel has received her first nomination for her outstanding contribution to teaching for being: ** an excellent role model ** demonstrated outstanding and innovative work within their educational setting and community ** shown to be innovative and passionate about their job If I could also add... ** an inspiration to her students & peers ** lifts everyone to her level and brings out the best in her students and peers ** generously works out of hours to create amazing and up-to-date content for@her students ** sees each individual spirit and tries to work out how to serve them best ** creates dance pieces that makes Miss Kim want to get her dance cardio back so she can be in them (though I don’t think a panel of judges would understand this last one) Congratulations Miss Mel- we are so proud of you.
