25.01.2022 Squid is a unique product, the likes of which have not really been seen before in the world of flat glass tinting. Some may argue that is has similar properties to various other options on the market however as a woven fabric the softness and elegance of the finish is second to none. Designed specifically to provide a level of privacy that acts to screen instead of block is one of the aspects of the film that we love the most. In the same way that one-way vision film works,... Squid can also act as an almost complete block-out film when the light source is greater on the opposite side of the glass to the view you wish to mask. For example, in the image below you can clearly see the occupants of the cafe behind the soft layer of Squid on the glass, that is because it is evening and the light inside the building is greater that the light outside. 21.01.2022 This project had an interesting brief, to create the look of a stained glass window without the stained glass. Modern architecture often requires modern solutions to reinventing classic style and thats where Digitally Printed graphics can really shine. The beauty of this solution lies not only in the aesthetics of the design but also the flexibility of the application. Should the school decide in the future to redesign the window the process is simply to remove and replace the printed graphics which is only a fraction of the cost of replacing an entire stained glass feature window. 15.01.2022 In our version 2020 here at Tint Design, we’ve definitely felt the effects of the challenges that it threw at us (with relentless force and impeccable aim), but we are still here and plan to come back better than ever in 2021. We’ve all experienced change in a big way this year and this industry, like countless others, feels like it has literally been flipped on its head. To that, we simply say, hold my drink, because reinventing ourselves in order to best serve our clients..., and be a valuable contributor to this industry, is what Tint Design is all about. 14.01.2022 Weve been noticing natural and light graphics are a growing trend for interior fitouts, with the inspiration of the outdoors coming into working environments to encourage productivity and employee satisfaction. This was the inspiration behind our design called Glide. Digitally printing white onto optically clear window film brings out the tiny details that make this design so unique and lifelike.

13.01.2022 Sometimes it may look as though were quiet and dont have much to share, but its often in those times that were working on something big that has to stay under wraps until all the work is done. For a significant period last year, the printed ceiling above the double atrium spaces of the newly refurbished Monash Chancellery building was one such project - and we couldnt be more proud of the result. This stunning banksia and tea tree artwork by local artist Margaret Preston... is made up of over 400 individually printed (textured) acoustic ceiling tiles. Tyler Golding was a powerhouse in managing and printing this project to reality. 09.01.2022 Soti Inc approached us to complete an office refurbishment for their new location in Mulgrave. As a multi-national company, the graphics package was supplied by their in-house team in order to remain consistent with their global branding. We think that the result really gave this otherwise bland interior a fantastic lift.

By using a large-format cutting and routing machine they are able to create functional and decorative film and various substrate solutions that can be formulated for any surface suitable for the application.
