04.01.2022 Last week we were very excited (and a little disgusted ) to find these grubs in our garden! When we found them we weren't sure what they were so we did some research and discovered they were curl grubs which are the larvae of different species of beetle. The larvae feed on dead plant material and the live roots or stems of different plants. The children were very proud of their discovery

03.01.2022 We have been busy learning the life cycle of our spiny leaf insects and have used our photos to create a visual display. The children have been comparing our insects to the photos and discussing them with their friends.
03.01.2022 Today we were excited to add natural wooden blocks to our play environment. The children showed a lot of interest creating areas for our animals and practicing building towers with different and more challenging shapes and angles.
