18.01.2022 Good morning Members We have been advised this morning by NSW Health that if you visited the Club between the hours of 9pm - 11pm on Wednesday 29th July 2020 an...d/or 9pm - 11pm Thursday 30th July 2020, it is advised that you get tested for COVID19 as soon as possible and self isolate for a period of 14 days. NSW Health have been given the list of those who attended the Club during those times via our Covid Safe Plan and they will be contacting the people on the list. NSW Health have also advised that patrons who attended the Club outside of those hours are at very low risk. As advised previously, the Club has undergone a thorough deep clean and have been advised by NSW Health that we can safely re-open today, Monday 3rd August 2020. To assure our Members and Staff that we have you all in our best interests , Wallsend Diggers and Wallsend Diggers Sports Club is restricted to Members Only and will not allow anyone entry from Victoria or Sydney. 15.01.2022 UPDATE ON LOCAL COVID-19 DATES, TIMES AND PLACES VISITED HNE Health has advised that the Lambton Park Hotel has been added to the list of venues visited by t...he Sydney worker. The hotel is closed and will undergo a deep clean. The person is construction worker, aged in his 20's who was working on a specific site in Newcastle. No details of the workplace have been provided as yet. The person attended the Hotel Jesmond on Wednesday 29 July between 7pm and 9pm and then the Wallsend Diggers & Mezz Bar between 9pm and 11pm. The person also attended the Lambton Park Hotel on Thursday 30 July between 7pm and 9pm and then the Wallsend Diggers & Mezz Bar between 9pm and 11pm. Anyone who attended the sites during those hours is required to get tested and isolate for 14 days.

The case is a close contact of the teenager announced yesterday. NSW Health is continuing to investigate the source of that case’s infection. This latest case is a male in his 20s.
