25.01.2022 TRAINING A friendly reminder that training starts back as of tomorrow. Please check Team App/Team Lists to confirm which day your child will train. All teams train at Plenty Parklands Primary School (either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday) except for the Under 8's who train at Mill Park stadium. Games will commence on Saturday 6 February. Game times are not out yet but please check Play HQ during the week for your childs fixture. Once Team Managers for each team have been c...onfirmed, they will communicate games times with parents each week. Please consider being a Team Manager for your child's team. Go Titans!!

Under 19 boys Complete this statement; ‘Titans Basketball Club.’ .. is a fantastic club with a great culture and a place for your kids to learn the game. What inspired you to become a basketball coach? Having played for over 25 years and the love for the game I wanted to give back and teach kids to see them grow and develop their skills from what I have learnt from my coaches in the past that made me enjoy playing the game. What is your favourite movie? Training Day Which NBL team do you follow? Melbourne United How do you motivate your players? Every player is motivated in a different way, and the great thing about basketball is that it is a team sport and I look to motivate the players as a team to play for each other and one another and the motivation will come from them to succeed on the court and at trainings pushing themselves and their teammates to become better. Who is your favourite NBA player and why? Michael Jordan, always grew up watching him play and how competitive he was and never gave up and is still the greatest of all time.

21.01.2022 Under a week to go now until our two A Grade winning teams from last season compete in the inaugural North West Comp where Under 12 & Under 14 A Grade winning teams from Whittlesea, Broadmeadows, Craigieburn and Sunbury go head to head at Broadmeadows Basketball Stadium. With it being school holidays and Friday being a public holiday we would love to have as much Titan support as possible to cheer the teams on to victory. The teams will play two games in total with the firs...t game starting at 6:30pm where the boys will play the A Grade winner from the Sunbury association and the girls playing the A Grade winner from Craigieburn. If both teams win they go into the Grand Final at 8:30pm and if they lose they play a Consolation Final at 8:30pm as well. Titans will be fielding teams in the following age groups for the upcoming season: Under 11 BOYS (born 2009-2010) Under 13 BOYS & GIRLS (born 2007 - 2008) Under 15 BOYS & GIRLS (born 2005-2006) Under 17 BOYS (born 2003-2004) Depending on numbers there will be a tryout night on a Sunday in March (to be considered for a team YOU MUST attend this tryout). If you are wanting to put your child’s name down and be apart of the tryouts or you have questions about the Eastern District Junior Basketball Association please contact Brendan on 0448531415. Dates and Times will be communicated individually via text message and not placed on FACEBOOK OR TEAMAPP so you must express interest to Brendan. We are NOW taking Expressions of Interest for the season starting straight after the Xmas school holidays in 2020. Titans will be fielding teams in the following age groups for the upcoming season: Under 10 BOYS ... Under 12 BOYS Under 14 BOYS Under 16 BOYS To be apart of the Summer Season there will be a tryout night at a time and day to be determined. If you are wanting to be apart of the tryouts or you have questions about the Diamond Valley League please contact Daniel on 0417350079 OR via email [email protected] Dates and Times will be communicated individually via text message and not placed on FACEBOOK OR TEAMAPP so you must express interest to Daniel or via PM on our facebook page. The EDJBA is a large competition, played at a very high standard. The Saturday competition has two seasons, which run for about 18 weeks. This includes 6 weeks of grading games and 3 weeks of finals. The new season starts on Saturday 18th April and finishes in September with a break in the school holidays. So act fast if you want your son/daughter to be playing in a competition that rivals to a certain extent VJBL on Friday nights.
