21.01.2022 What's in store this Thursday? Refreshing colours . When I started selling online, I was a cardmaker, and still am. I love cutting paper, making collages and mixing patterns. Designing cards bring personal joyful creative moments. I went into digital illustration a long time ago. It is only now that I get to explore it more because of the useful aids in drawing. Although I am more of a pen/paper, manual cutting artist, technology helps solve my problem joint areas, I am grateful for the innovations. At least I still get to enjoy making art. I trust you don't mind my colour happy stance. Clearly, colour makes our mood. That I believe so. . Keep shining, guys. We are almost nearing a wonderful weekend. 14.01.2022 How was your weekend been, guys? My family and I started our roadtrip to #KingValley yesterday. We enjoyed our trip last year so we decided to come back. Day 1 is in #MilawaVictoria. We had a sumptuous lunch at Gamze Smokehouse . A quick check-in and wine tasting at @woodparkwines . Then picked some highly recommended cheeses and dips at Milawa Cheese Company . I am glad we're able to do this now that regional Victoria is open for visits. We deserve a good break after the lockdown. Will just make the most out of it. Wherever you are, #StaySafe, Mamas. 10.01.2022 We have come to the final day of 2020. Cue Barry. Looks like we made it ... I know it has been a difficult year, but for us makers, we made the most out of what we have. And for me, it is a good finish after all. It turned out to be my most productive year as a maker. . . Here's to 300 sales on Etsy. I have explored a different level of sewing, baking, paper crafting, designing, gift wrapping, writing, blogging and networking. ... I have met a lot of women in business. . . I would not be able to do all these things if not for the inspiration and energy surrounding me, my family and friends. Special thanks to @_leisison who gave me the break to be a writer, @jed.doble who is instrumental for boosting my creativity and digital presence, and @sagedecisions_coach for helping me keep my entrepreneurial spirit intact. 06.01.2022 I can't stop raving about Day 2. The upside of travelling with teens is we can fill our itinerary with more food and shopping hunts. One can even join in wine tasting now. Yay. But both has not outgrown gelato. As long as tummies are full, mum can do her store haunts. . We had lunch at this gorgeous place Cafe Fez . It is part of a bigger shopping mecca of antiques plus unique artisan craft finds, Red Ramia Trading . I was hungry going there but got well fed by the feast of... colors, design and history. It is like being transported to Japan, India, China, and Morocco. It was fascinating. Brownie points to hubby for adding #Myrtleford in the itinerary. . The food is great. A bit busy, maybe because it's Sunday, but the wait was worth it. I got an H&M (Haloumi and Mushroom burger) and Turkish Coffee. I didn't go vegan. I had crispy bacon on the side. This kind of shop is what I go for to get inspired. So vibrant. Our loot consists of a terracotta tagine and a kimono. I refrained from going crazy in there but I love to go back when it's time to choose for doors and moroccan tiles.
