24.01.2022 Prepositions! These are words we use to describe location Did you know we expect children to understand and use in and on by the age of 3 years! Preposition words are important when helping a child to understand directions, instructions of increasing length and enhancing vocabulary. Often when children DONT follow instructions. Their misunderstanding can be mistaken for bad behaviour. Listen out for which location words your little one can and cannot comprehend. #tlcspeechpathology

Teaching them how the sound is produced! Is it a front, back, nasal or lippy sound? Is it a noisy or a soft sound? There is so much for these little ones to think about!
