24.01.2022 May meeting is ON! Look forward to seeing our members together again this Sunday. Hopefully you've read your email, but just in case, all parking must be done in the bitumen parking bays, between North St & the oval. No parking on the grass! If you have plants etc to offload, drive thru to the single carpark at the top of the stairs, quickly unload and move car to parking bays before taking your gear down to the hall. Class 1A is Dyckia, Orthophytum & Puya. Pointers and process for the Autumn Sale next weekend will be covered. As well as the normal show table, feel free to bring along any plants you may wish to ask advice on.

12.01.2022 In case you haven't seen the photos on our website, www.bromeliadstoowoomba.com.au we had a lovely meeting in October with our guest speaker Susanne Short who spoke about Geraniums & Pelargoniums. Everyone went home with cuttings to strike, courtesy of Susanne, hope they are going well. Our Plant of the day was a flowering orchid by Anne Lagerweij. Congratulations Anne and all other winners, the full list is on our website.

10.01.2022 What a great November meeting we had. Starting with a succulent swap that was very well supported and finishing with a talk on fertilizers by Mike Wells & 'Getting to know you' chat from Greg Anderson, it was a full and rewarding afternoon out. Thanks to Mike for adapting to the power outage and all members should have received a copy of the slides via email. Big congratulations to Jason Bailey with Plant of the Day, a lovely Pachypodium Madagascar. Full results available at our website on the Club News page. We have our final event for the year at Club Glenvale on 29th November.

09.01.2022 Can you believe our last general meeting of the year is this Sunday? Our guest speaker is Mike Wells, with a wealth of knowledge, you may have heard him on the ABC radio in gardening talk back every second Saturday morning. As a special treat to end the year, we are having a Succulent cuttings swap. If you'd like to participate, bring some of yours tagged in a bag and hopefully you can expand your collection. Class 1A for the month is Guzmanias, so bring a couple to the show table.

06.01.2022 Photos of some of our champions but they don’t give you the full experience, these are stunning specimens, come along and have a look for yourself. $3 entry but your also seeing stunning Clivia Show, demonstrations and Sales. See pink brochure for full details.
