16.01.2022 DSV Road handles road transport throughout Europe and invested in Toyota Forklift Automation (AGVs) to provide a more structured and efficient way of getting their clients goods through their cross-dock and onwards to the final destination. The Automated Toyota forklifts handle 75% of the total volume by standardising the pallets the goods were received on, this enabled the lower volume specialised pallets to be handled manually. The AGVs allow DSV employees to work in a safe environment, with more structure, more efficiency and less damage. 03.01.2022 Justin Fox, from timber cutters Fox In The Woods Timber Cutters Tamworth, recently took delivery of his new Toyota Huski 5SDK9 Skid steer loader. The machine was supplied with a Digga 4 x 1 GP bucket, Digga auger drive with 300mm & 450mm Augers with tungsten tips, a Norm reversible stick rake and a HIMAC pallet fork with grapple attachment, allowing Justin to lift and hold large timber logs whilst traversing over uneven ground without losing control of the load.
