25.01.2022 Competition soloists, if you would like to contact the Centre for more information please do so.

23.01.2022 Please see link below for purchasing Showcase tickets for both the Tiny Tots/Junior Showcase, and the Intermediate/Senior Showcase. Tickets are released at 9am on Monday 2 November. Allocated dance classes perform at their own Showcase, for example; dancers who attend Junior Jazz will perform at the Tiny Tots/Junior Showcase. They do not perform their Junior Jazz routine again at the Int/Snr Showcase. Please remember ALL dancers must purchase the $5 tickets in order for Tick...etebo to record attendees for contact tracing. As with the purchase of concert tickets, we will still receive a list of all who purchase Showcase tickets on a weekly basis. Please remember to purchase only for Immediate family and Grandparents (cousins/aunts/uncles not at this stage please). Thankyou ;) https://www.ticketebo.com.au/tntdancestudio

21.01.2022 Congratulations Olivia on placing 2nd for Tap Solo and 4th for Speed Tap at 'Get the Beat' Eisteddfod in Maryborough. Olivia joined TNT in January this year and commenced a new tap solo routine which we completed before COVID restrictions. Olivia learnt her second routine during isolation period when certain restrictions were lifted. She is focused on increasing her confidence and technique. Olivia has only competed in one local eisteddfod and is so excited to be able to build on her experience with TNT at a range of eisteddfods to achieve her goals. Great job Olivia!

21.01.2022 Int/Snr Showcase photos look amazing! Beautiful smiling faces and awesome commitment to dance. We are so proud of all our dancers ;) Thankyou so much Miss Joanne for taking some snaps for us!!

Please remember, our return to dance will be different, changes have taken place that have forced us, as combined Studios to be more efficient and effective in our approach to classes and the safety of our beautiful dancers.

20.01.2022 Hello TNT Dancers and Families! We hope you are all well and keeping yourselves amused with the multitude of free online dance tutorials and videos on youtube as well as our TNT TikTok page. We are really hoping dance will return by Term 3.....there are too many dancers with withdrawals! We have been notified by ADA that our Dance Exams in July have been cancelled due to restrictions, but may happen at a later date this year once they are lifted. ADA have also advised the sh...orter exams - called 'Class Performance Awards' (CPA), would be easier to monitor and teach with the little contact we are experiencing and a better alternative for exam students for 2020. The shorter exams are compiled of exercise chosen by myself from the Grade Syllabus accoring to the requirments for each exam (eg. Gr 2 Ballet requires 2 Barre Exercises, 3 Centre Exercises, the Enchainment and Routine). To assist our examination students I have compiled videos of the exercises/combinations/routines required for the shortened CPA's (short version of exams due to little Teacher contact time). The videos have been made for examination classes only (that is - classes that do not participate in the Concert), which are the following (from the Intermediate & Senior Timetable): Gr 2 Ballet Gr 3 Ballet Gr 4 Ballet Gr 4 Jazz Gr 4 Tap Gold Star Tap Gold Star Jazz (Bronze Star Ballet videos will be compiled by Miss Kristina via private arrangement). The videos will be available to those who can provide a named USB, and to any dancers who attend the above exam classes. One set of videos (eg Gr 2 Ballet) will be free to dancers who attend that particular class as part of the Week 10 Term 1 Credit from cancelled dance classes. If you attend 3 exam classes listed above you will only have to pay for 2 due to your 1 week credit (on accounts that have been paid in full of course). Please direct any questions regarding the videos to Miss Couris via PM. If you attend the exam classes but are not interested in sitting the CPA exams please consider accessing the videos and continue your dance practice at home with your familiar exercises. Take care TNT...we look forward to seeing you all again soon!! XX

20.01.2022 Congratulations to our amazing Comp dancers who were brave enough to seize the opportunity and compete in Get The Beat Dance Competition this weekend in Bundy. With barely 10 days notice dancers from around QLD competed at the PCYC Multiplex (on a very tiny stage I might add). After only 5 weeks of returning to dance, a number of our Comp Dancers decided to Showcase their talents and compete. We are so proud of all of you!! Results are as follows: Allegra Sheppard: 1st Contem...porary, 1st Lyrical, 1st Ballet, 3rd Jazz, and 5th Highest scoring points in the Petite solos Olivia Hielscher: 1st Tap, 1st Open Section, and 5th Highest scoring points in the Pre-Junior solos Sienna Johnson: 3rd Jazz, 1st Own Chorey, 1st Tap Solo, and 5th Highest scoring points in the Junior solos Shelby Walker: 2nd Song and Dance Jalah Bakker: 1st Song and Dance, 2nd Tap, 2nd Jazz, Winner of Miss Get The Beat, and 10th Highest scoring points in the Junior solos Isabella Mallett: 3rd Jazz Saige Jacobs: 2nd Jazz, 3rd Contemporary, 3rd Lyrical Imogen Runge: 2nd Acro, 2nd Contemporary, 3rd Open, 3rd Lyrical, and 4th Highest scoring points in the Senior solos Seth Sheppard: 3rd Contemporary A special congrats to our dancers who achieved Platinum/Double Platinum/High Gold Awards/Tickets to Finals: Allegra, Olivia, Sienna, Jalah, Isabella, Saige, Aliza, Indiana, Kayla, Imogen and Seth. Fantastic job dancers, it was so wonderful to watch every single one of those 33 solos (Plus all of the other competitors in between lol). We do hope we will get another opportunity to see the rest of our Dancers compete and the remaining solos that our above dancers didn't get to showcase due to cost of entry.

19.01.2022 Hello TNT Dancers and Families! We have further information regarding our Showcase for 2020. We apologise for any delay in communication, we have been waiting for confirmation on hiring venues which was dependant on the latest COVID relaxations for QLD. VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ ALL BELOW: -Tickets for our TWO In-house Showcases will be available for purchase on 2 November. All tickets are $5 each. Tickets will not be available to purchase at the door.... -There will be a Tiny Tots/Junior Showcase at 2:30pm (Dancers please arrive at 2pm), and an Intermediate/Senior Showcase at 5:30pm (Dancers please arrive at 5pm) on Saturday 28 November. -Both Showcases are not open to the general public, but only to TNT Dancers and Parents/Siblings/Grandparents. We are not able to extend the invitation to Cousins/Aunts/Uncles at this stage as numbers are restricted to approximately 200 audience members per Showcase. -ALL DANCERS MUST PURCASE TICKETS. This is to allow Ticketebo to record details for Government COVID tracing records. -We will supply hand sanitizer at entrance and exit points and encourage audience members to social distance outside of family groups on entry and exit to the venue. Our COVID plan will also be on display. -The venue is North Bundaberg State High School. Please refer to required costuming information provided by your dance teachers this week. We are thoroughly looking forward to seeing our dancers perform their Class Showcase pieces that have been especially choreographed to suit social distancing and COVID restrictions. We have strived to keep our dancers safe and healthy over the last 3 months in Studio, and though we are not able to Showcase an actual Concert with props, costumes and themes, we are more than happy to just dance together and finish the year with a little joy! Keep your eye out for the next Facebook post with Ticketbo links for each Showcase :) Thankyou TNT Family

17.01.2022 Hello TNT! We miss you all and cannot wait to see you again soon! If all goes well with goverment regulations we are anticipating commencing dance classes again in Term 3. This year we have heard the word 'lost' used in so many scenarios all related to COVID19 ie. Lost jobs, lost income, lost motivation, lost skills, lost fitness, lost loved ones, lost goals, lost time - the list goes on. We understand and we are committing ourselves to making 2020 the year of the 'found'. W...e will be issuing a new timetable in Term 3 and believe we have 'found' a way to be more resourceful, we have 'found' a way to rekindle the spark in our dancers who have felt so lonely over the past few months, and we have 'found' a way to ensure costs associated with Concert performance costumes will be kept at a minimum. Our goal is to showcase a 2020 Concert! We hope you will be just as excited as we are to dance again!!!! So, keep utilising all of the free online resources available (QB has some fantastic vdos), exam students - keep practicing your exercises and combinations with your USB's (I know you all love watching me.....hehe), and dancers don't be afraid to rock out a little Improv in the living room!! We will be in touch soon! XX

16.01.2022 We have some exciting news! We will be welcoming our own Paris Hillier back as a Teacher at TNT for the next 5 months. Paris will be teaching a range of classes from Juniour Contemporary to Senior Hip Hop. A word from Paris: "After 15 years of training at TNT, I moved to the Gold Coast in 2018 to complete 2 years of Full-time dance. Over these 2 years I completed my Certificate IV in dance and my Certificate III & IV in Fitness while also learning from the best dancers and c...horeographers from all over the world. I was lucky enough to travel to America multiple times to learn in professional environments and to have a greater understanding of the industry. At the beginning of the year I was fortunate enough to be offered a contract on a Disney Cruise line in Florida as a Professional Dancer. Due to the current pandemic my contract has been put on hold, which fortunately gives me the opportunity to come back and teach at TNT for the remainder of the year. I'm super excited to be back and spread the knowledge I've learnt over the past few years". Thanks for joining us Paris!! We look forward to working with you again. X

16.01.2022 Hello TNT Families! Please find attached the timetable for Term 3 and Term 4 of 2020. Due to the loss of Boston St Hall (we are unable to hire it at this point in time) we have been forced to condense our classes to Curtis St & Sims Rd. We have also spent a significant amount of time scheduling our classes to be more efficient and effective. Some have combined, some are shorter (Dance In - Dance Out mentality), and some have not changed at all. Any questions, please pm us bef...ore the term commences. With regards to 2020 dance examinations, we have been instructed to continue to wait patiently as studios throughout Queensland share their interest and ability in completing exams with ADA in 2020. We will keep you posted. We are also in the process of planning an in-house showcase project that will be fun and exciting for TNT families and dancers to look forward to at the end of the year. As the possibility of showcasing a professioal concert is dwindling due to COVID restrictions, we are moving to 'Plan B'. Keep in Touch!

03.01.2022 So today was scheduled for our final Theatre rehearsal in preparation for our 2020 concert this weekend. We would be scurrying around loading props and ensuring we were 100% ready for two amazing performances on 11 and 12 September. Alas, tis not so for 2020, instead we can reminisce of concerts gone past and look forward to our Inhouse Showcase in November. It won't be anything like our major performances but it will definitely be lots of fun for our Dancers, Teachers and Parents. We miss you 2020! Looking forward to a brighter future for all. X

03.01.2022 TNT Showcases are on today! We are all so excited to get together and have a dance after such a hollow year. Please remember to bring your tickets and programs, as well as a water bottle....hot stuff!! Tiny Tots/Junior Performers arrive at 2pm and Int/Senior Performers arrive at 5pm. See you all at North Bundy High!!

03.01.2022 Hello TNT Dancers We are in the process of updating the class schedule online. Please find the link for Term 3 Enrolments. The website will be updated this week. Please ignore the label 'Term 4 2019' if you come across it. The label has been updated via jotform but doesn't always show the updated name. You will also notice a change in term fees. This is to reflect the shorter classes (30min classes). Dancers who were attending approximately 10 classes/wk on the Unlimited Plan... were at a heavily discounted rate of $5/class. With the changes we have had to make you will find some accounts are lower than usual and others may be slightly higher (usually due to an additional class) or because the unlimited rate has excluded shorter classes. All in all, we are have always been focused on keeping our fees competitive. Thanks so much and enjoy the rest of your holidays! https://form.jotform.co/sh/term-3-dance-enrolment-form-2020 See more

03.01.2022 Hello TNT Dancers, we hope you are not already suffering from withdrawals from dance class! Please find the 2021 timetable attached for those who did not receive one during term 4 classes. Enrolments can be submitted via the link on our 'About' page, please message us if you have further questions regarding classes. Dance will commence in week 2 of Term 1 in 2021. Keep your eyes peeled for any posts regarding TNT workshops over the next couple of weeks and in the new year!! Enjoy your holidays :)

02.01.2022 Look at these three beautiful dancers! What awesome young women they are, and so stunning! Congratulations on your wonderful achievements Friday night in Maryborough at the Evolution Dance Competition. Olivia - 1st Speciality Tap (Speed) Sienna - 1st Own Choreography, 2nd - Straight Tap (Speed), Special Mention - Specialty Tap (Waltz) ... Jalah - 2nd Entertainment/Cabaret, 3rd - Specialty Tap (Character Tap), Special Mention - Straight Tap (Speed) All three dancers qualified for Nationals for all routines. We are so proud of your efforts and commitment to dance over the last four months. Your focus and passion for dance has withstood the challenges in your paths. Well done girls. Xx

01.01.2022 It has been wonderful to see our dancers back again this week! We have started working on our mini routines/combinations for our Showcase at the end of November. As you all know, our Concert was scheduled for September and due to COVID-19 restrictions and the unpredicatbility of the current economic situation for many families, we decided to postpone our concert until 2021 and work on a Showcase instead. The Showcase will be easily affordable for all families without the risk... of a heavy burden if canceled due to a 2nd wave of COVID-19 restrictions in QLD during the next four months. Please remember to use the link below to enrol - even if you have attended class this week without registering your enrolment form we really need them completed. They contain important information regarding photography, as well as the new schedule of fees which conincides with the new 2020 timetable. They also confirm the classes you are attending and any changes to attendance after week 1 of the term. Thankyou so much! https://form.jotform.co/sh/term-3-dance-enrolment-form-2020

01.01.2022 Congratulations dancers on your recent competition at Future Stars in Maryborough. We know you would have thoroughly enjoyed getting some stage time after the dance drought. Good luck on your next one coming up!!
