25.01.2022 I hope you all had a sensational Saturday. Today l did a makeover on this little secretary desk. I forgot to take a before pic but it was dark mahogany so you get the picture. I used tissue paper and painted her in Trixibelle pink and white mineral paint by @bird_on_the_hill . New handles and sealed with a Matt top coat. Perfect as a laptop desk only $295. What a grrat Christmas gift! In store now. 06.01.2022 Last week a massive branch fell from the large Poinciana tree in Buckley park next to Roost Interiors. I salvaged these shards of bark and stems and made these cute organic Christmas trees. The very next day Council came along with a wood chipper and cleaned it all up. I never miss an opportunity to utilise interesting materials in my upcycling projects. The love sign is made from timber letters which were given a rust effect and attached to this awesome rusty metal panel th...at l found at the tip shop. I sealed it all with spray shellac so it won't rust any further!
