23.01.2022 FREE LEGAL SERVICES - Border Roadshow Hume Riverina Community Legal Service & Legal Aid NSW are holding an information session at the Tocumwal Memorial Hall on Monday 26th February; 12:30 - 4:30pm. All are welcome, no appointment necessary.

19.01.2022 Weekly drawing sessions have started in Tocumwal. Wednesday from 10:30am -12:30pm At the Tocumwal War Memorial Hall, main street of Tocumwal, next door to the Post Office. Bring your own materials; equipment and $20 for the two hour session. There are tables and chairs in the hall to utilise if required, but come a bit earlier to setup for a 10.30am start.... The drawing sessions are for like minded individuals, who are interested in pursuing their love of drawing. There are three former art teachers in the group, who will be happy to share their knowledge and offer guidance to newcomers. 15.01.2022 The Tocumwal War Memorial Hall stage has had a face lift!! This all come about by winning a grant application - The Tocumwal Golf & Bowls Club's Club Grants, along with the hard work of some dedicated volunteers and the donation of the use of a floor sander by Babcon Plant Hire in Cobram. The stage area black has been painted black, stage floor refinished and the installation of a black back drop, side drapes and the new Poppy red stage curtains. The curtains by Light & Sound... Solutions Integration. The colour "poppy" being a fitting colour for the War Memorial. Thank you again to those that contributed.

13.01.2022 The Annual General Meeting of the Tocumwal War Memorial Hall Committee of Management will be held at the hall this Thursday, 25th October at 7pm. All are welcome, come along and be a part of your community hall.

08.01.2022 Changes are happening at the hall. With the help of the NSW Community War Memorials Fund grant, along with Murray Valley Locating and Electrical, the Tocumwal War Memorial Hall is getting a mini face lift with the removal of the light fixtures that were added in the 70's? Soon the facade will also have a gentle acid wash to clean the brick work. Keep an eye out for the changes.

02.01.2022 Hello out there. The Tocumwal War Memorial Hall committee are looking for photos from the past. Whether it was yesterday, 1995, 1978....or 1942, have a look in those albums of Mum and Dad's or Grandma's; Pop's or Aunty Jean's and see what you can share. Anything and everything that shows the front of the hall, the dress of the day, stage decorations or plays, deb balls, supper dances, the list goes on etc. Everything changes and it would be nice to get photos of those changes and perhaps bring some of those features back to life.
