25.01.2022 On the weekend we travelled to Taree for the Dave Hamnett Memorial race for the last race of the year and one of the most enjoyable race meetings we do every year. It was a challenging but fun weekend with the weather changing constantly keeping us on our toes. Qualifying - 2nd out of 32!!! ... The MP for Taree started us up and away we went, we were confident on setup all I had to do was get clear track which was hard with 32 karts on such a small track, I was able to do so. Heat 1 - 3rd out of 32 It was challenging race with missing the start slightly and going 3 wide through turn 1!! This dropped me to 3rd which is where I stayed Heat 2 - 1st out of 32!!! We were unsure on wet or dry tyres, we took a gamble and stuck the dry tyres on a damp track, the wet tyres were quicker for the first couple of laps but I was able to pounce when running 2nd and the dry tyres became quicker. Heat 3 - Started 1st, Finished 3rd out of 32 We opted for the wet tyres, it was the right call but I made a little mistake on the start and dropped 3rd. Final - Started 3rd, Finished 2nd out of 32 This race was run at 9:00 at night, it was lightly sprinkling leaving us on wet tyres, as we drove out it was raining quite heavily leaving everyone with next to no visibility it was tricky once us leaders caught up to the lapped karts as we could barely see them, I was able to drive to a limit and keep it on the track, in the fifteen minutes we raced it rained roughly 30mL. Hopefully some pretty big news coming soon with big plans for next year.
25.01.2022 Unfortunately next round has been postponed, however not all bad news as the 13th - 15th of August has already been announced as the new date.
23.01.2022 What a lap that was to have Bathurst to myself was pretty cool even though it was in the virtual world, Licked the stamp and sent it Tune in Saturday at 8pm for the qualifying broadcast and Sunday for the race on Simshed Broadcasting.

10.01.2022 I was delighted to attend the Manning Valley Kart Club over the weekend for The Hamnett. This was the clubs first race meet on their new track made possible thanks to a more the $250 000 NSW Government Grant. The Nationals delivering for Myall Lakes and regional NSW
