24.01.2022 Over the next 2 weeks we will walk you through the trail to discover each work as they are now. We begin with 'Symbiosis' by Marynes Avila. A 100 m path of neurons that represent the right and left hemispheres of the brain; the roots of the forest; and it's canopy. Toolangi is unlike any other 'sculpture' trail in Australia. Here we allow the art works to return to nature if this is the artist's intention. These symbiotic neurons are in various stages of intertwining with Mountain Clematis and Forest Wire-grass whilst being nestled among the bracken that lines much of this sunny, exposed aspect of the trail.

14.01.2022 Toolangi Sculpture Trail has been on the downlow for a while but is now in the process of getting a makeover. Trail signs are in production and the website is getting a joosh! Stay posted!

12.01.2022 Stoked to be representing Toolangi as a Victorian Culture destination. Big thanks to Murrindindi Shire Council for their invaluable sponsorship. Page 36!

11.01.2022 One year ago our team of selected artists started bringing their creative ideas to life on site in the Toolangi Bushland Reserve. Well before this though, artists had started visiting Toolangi to research ideas and explore possibilities. As each selected their site in the trail, a tree was marked by GPS with a temporary label. It was exciting to walk through the trail and imagine how it would soon be transformed by art.

07.01.2022 Now with the weather improving is a great time to take a wander through the Toolangi Sculpture Trail - a unique destination incorporating art in nature. 03.01.2022 Brigit Heller's Syzigium has weathered extremely well. She had hoped it would blend into its landscape appearing to emerge gently out of the earth. From this perspective it does however visitors cannot resist the opportunity to have their photo taken with it. Such is the beauty of freely accessible public art! Please continue and don't forget to tag #toolangisculpturetrail
