23.01.2022 It looks like weve got a crowd favourite with our new turquoise marble mouth guards. Weve made so many of these this week were going to have to order more blanks! Did you know @toombulfamilydental makes custom mouth guards for $50 or no-out of pocket if you have a private health fund? We do this to make mouth guards accessible for everyone, because its so important to us that our patients protect themselves and their teeth while playing sports. Dont waste your money on chemist/store bought mouth guards that dont fit properly, when our team can offer you custom-fit protection for less.

Theres something really satisfying about nurturing our plants and watching them grow. We get so excited when we see new little leaves sprout. Our plants make our practice homely and relaxing, and its nice for us to see a little bit of greenery and nature inside when were busy inside all day. Our team actively support wildlife/animal care programs and have some pretty exciting plans this year to participate in some hands-on habitat rehabilitation projects as part of our family time together. Last night, we planted our jungle and koala habitat in our kids room as part of our daily reminder to ourselves t...o be more mindful of our environment and to show our support for the conservation of both native and exotic animals who are facing extinction. As awful as it is, its important we talk about these treatments so we can help our community take care of their teeth and oral health during what is likely to be a very traumatic time. Chemotherapy and Radiation Therapy are cancer treatments that can be very hard on the body. Both treatments can significantly impact your saliva flow and oral health, making your mouth very dry and uncomfortable. This reduced saliva flow can... also put you at risk of other dental issues such as dental decay. Whilst we sincerely hope that none of our patients are ever in a position to require such treatments, we want you to know that we will support you as best we can to help minimise these oral side effects and protect your teeth. If you or a family member is undergoing any of these treatments and youd like to speak to a Dentist about your oral health, you are welcome to come in and chat to one of our dentists at NO COST. One way we can help is by making custom dental trays for you to wear, which are used with special products that help nurture and protect your teeth.
