21.01.2022 Hi All Toongi Hall Group Members, There is some funding available for us to upgrade the Tennis Courts and put up lights so we can play twilight tennis. For our submission we need to get community support to apply for the funding and submit the support with our application Anyone interested in supporting this application can send messages through facebook or send a letter showing your support so we can attach it to our submission... We have upgraded one court and would like to upgrade another 2 courts and lighting so we can involve more people in playing tennis at our Hall We would appreciate your support



21.01.2022 Toongi Hall is having a community get together to see the refurbished hall this Saturday 5th September at 3pm. Come along to have a look at the finished hall, it looks great, see the sneak peak below. Bring your own snacks and grog. Social distancing rules will be in place

20.01.2022 Featured artist Dave Gunning sings about the past of when small halls where the social centre of the community. A lot of these halls have disappeared over time, but we are lucky to still have one. All proceeds from the Festival of Small Halls at Toongi Hall this Friday, go back into the upkeep, so it can be enjoyed by the generations to come.

We have 2 projects one to restore the hall and improve the facilities and the other to allow us to play twilight tennis. 01.01.2022 Talented artist Jo White Studio has very generously created and donated this wonderful painting (valued at $750) featuring Toongi tennis players from the 1920s. The painting will be raffled and the winner announced at the Festival of Small Halls event at Toongi Hall on Friday 23 March. Framed size 58cm x 48cm. Raffle tickets and event tickets available at the door.
