25.01.2022 With COVID-19 restrictions limiting so many people from doing the things they enjoy, we have all had to learn new ways of doing things. Like our fellow beneficiaries we are still offering our services to those who need us, so please support this year’s reimagined Toowoomba’s Christmas Wonderland in the CBD. - TH

It is just like a 'walk a thon' if each participant in your team can raise $100 each ($10.00 from 10 friends/family) there is a $1,000 to the Hospice from each team...how easy is that! - TH

20.01.2022 How lucky are we..... A BIG thank you to the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) who kindly awarded the Hospice a Grant to purchase a new Hospice Vehicle - Mazda CX5. We would also like to thank Signarama Toowoomba for donating the sign writing on the vehicle. This is just another wonderful example of the great partnerships the Toowoomba Hospice has in the Community. Thank you GCBF and Signarama. 17.01.2022 Katrina and Mark were delighted to attend the Toowoomba Referral Group's weekly get together at Urban Grounds Cafe. This particular get together was to donate funds they have raised throughout the year. The Hospice wasn't the only beneficiary...there were at least 4 others and we were proud to be there with them! Thank you to the Toowoomba Referral Group for thinking of us, and we look forward to catching up in 2021 - TH

14.01.2022 Volunteer Gardener wanted! Our volunteer gardening team provides gardening services to our Hospice facility in Harristown. The Hospice boasts a beautiful garden which is enjoyed by our clients, their families, and visitors along with our staff and volunteers.... We are seeking someone new to join our team to assist with the following tasks: weeding, watering, pruning, potting, mowing, whipper snipping, hedge trimming and general garden tidy upsnot all at the same time though! LOL The position would suit someone with a good level of gardening experience and plant care knowledge and a love of gardening. So, if you are able to tell the difference between a plant and a weed and know how much water is enough to keep our plants looking healthy, have a good understanding of when to fertilise and when to cut back, able to keep up with the physical demands of the job & use gardening equipment, enjoy the outdoors and working as part of a friendly team, and are available to work a few hours, one day each week, we want to hear from you.
