25.01.2022 Well well well, here we are again another 7 day lockdown I'm not sure I even need to let you guys know the drill, I'm sure by now you know it well I'll be contacting clients next week when we have a clear indication hopefully of an open date (playing it safe) to rebook those of you that have been cancelled due to the lockdown! 25.01.2022 Yes, it's me again, Rebecca from Top 2 Toe. Just thought I'd pop up a picture showing the difference between a powder brow directly after treatment verses a healed powder brow. As you can see, when you first do a powder brow it's dark, dense and bigger. But when they heal, they become a lot more softer and smaller in appearance. Personally I LOVE them when they appear really dense and dark before they fade, but that's really hard to achieve when you actually tattoo your own brows and in general as it'll never be as dark as when first completed.

23.01.2022 A colleague of mine Domenica Ciappara has been working hard to help sole traders who do not qualify for any special grants. Unlike change.org petitions, this one is actually has the backing of an MP so will be heard in Parliament. Great work Domenica. Read below what she writes and sign the petition. Small business still have business loans, rent, insurances, equipment leases and many more costs just like a business that employs staff. Domenica writes: Be watching 9 news... tonight (also on 7 without my interview lol) I just stepped WAY, WAY, out of my comfort zone! By doing so my hope is that sole traders without staff, including those in partnerships, get the business recognition and access to grants they deserve and desperately need. I am only one OF MANY excluded from the business support grants and I hope this e petition will bring about a much needed change in the way the Government determines eligibility for the grants. 22.01.2022 NEW TREATMENT ALERT SKIN NEEDLING/COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY Yay another course under my belt. Looking at the bright side, if it wasn't for ISO, I doubt very much this would have happened. I'd been thinking about doing this treatment for quite some time but the thought of working full time and doing months of study overwhelmed me. ... Over 10 years ago I trained in Advanced Skin Science and I only incorporated certain aspects of that training into my current job so it was a case of "use it or lose it". So I had to go back and study again so I felt highly confident to take further training in Skin Needling. And I'm super happy to say, I did it and passed with flying colours! Whoooo hooooo So if you're wondering what Skin Needling/Collagen Induction is, it's a treatment that involves the use of a needling device to create controlled injury to the skin by creating small micro wounds. This inturn triggers the body to heal these wounds by producing new collagen and elastin. It's a fantastic treatment for overall skin rejuvenation. 19.01.2022 BROW FEATHERING How dare our State close beauty salons and deny my client the perfect brows!! Thankfully we are open again so I can do what I love and create some awesome brows! 18.01.2022 EYELINER!! How much does this eyeliner make my client's eye pop! This is a small eyeliner with a tiny little flick at the tail. We also did a lash enhancement (this is where you actually tattoo in between the lashes so they look fuller). ... With summer here, my client can go swimming with no fear of panda eyes or her make up washing off. Small changes make a huge difference

I originally did this eyeliner years ago and my lovely client came in to have the colour boosted and we went a little thicker this time. ... No more smudging and running eyeliner for my client and definitely no panda eyes! She'll also save time in the morning trying to draw her eyeliner on and getting it even. 13.01.2022 Appreciation post. Now I normally keep my posts more about business than personal but I believe my hubby deserves a massive shout out. Oh man he's not going to like this post. But as most of you know, I'm a one woman show which means every business role is done by me. But my hubby is always there behind the scenes, helping, supporting and giving advice (even though he often hears "don't tell me how to run my business".) Ha ha ... Being home and not being able to run my business for nearly 7 months has really taken its toll on my mental health. My normal bubbly, happy personality was far and few between and I really lost my mojo. I had days that I didn't even get dressed, days where I couldn't stop crying and days that I didn't even want to reply to people's texts. My poor hubby would come home from work not knowing what he was going to get. But honestly, he tried absolutely everything in his power to do whatever he could to try and make things better. He really is one in a million. So thank you soooooo much babe for always supporting and being my business buddy behind the scenes! Couldn't do all I do without you behind me! It's been awhile, but soon enough you'll be telling me off again "to get off my phone" at night with me replying "I'm just responding to a client" As the days get closer to opening and restrictions are easing I can definitely feel my mojo coming back.

12.01.2022 CANDLES CANDLES CANDLES New scents and new containers!! Candle burning tips ... To get a perfect burn on your candle and the maximum burn time always make sure when you first burn your candle that you burn it long enough so the wax melts all the way to the edge of the container. A good couple of hours generally. After the first burn and before you light it again, make sure you remove the top of black sooty burnt wick as you'll get a much nicer burn. Even if the wick looks small and stumpy after this, don't worry, as once you light it, it'll burn fine. If you'd like to purchase some beautiful candles, please contact Rebecca on 0418 129 277. 12.01.2022 Let's appreciate some eyeliner pics from when I could work Eyeliner is becoming so much more popular these days. Not only does it look perfect 24/7, not wash off or smudge, elimates panda eyes but it saves you so much time in the morning trying to get your eyeliner even. That struggle is REAL!! Three different eyeliners to suit three different clients! ... Top pic is top and bottom eyeliner with the top eyeliner being more of a thicker eyeliner with a wedge. Honesty, the picture doesn't do it justice, it looks absolutely gorgeous on my client. Bottom left pic is pretty much what we class as a lash enhancement, which is where we literally do a very small eyeliner in between the client's lashes. Bottom right pic is a small eyeliner with a lash enhancement with a teeny tiny tail. When it comes to eyeliner, you can choose whatever style, length or thickness you like. 12.01.2022 HEALED VERSES DIRECTLY AFTER TATTOOING Here is an example of a powder brow directly after treatment compared to how a powder brow heals. As you can see when they are initially done they are "out there" and can look very dark, but you can also see once healed, the fade, soften and even shrink. Another set of powder brows for the win!!

09.01.2022 Feeling a little shattered after hearing the announcement yesterday. It seems Beauty Salons cannot open until late November and that's providing we have zero Covid cases for 14 days. I never thought I'd have to stop doing what I love for nearly 8 months. So once again, sorry to all my clients but unfortunately it's totally out of my control. At this stage, I'm not going to book in any appointments until we have a definite open date. I have a list of all clients who had ...an appointment booked in and also clients that would like an appointment. Those who had an appointment or are in need of their perfection session will be given priority. Please note, I'll be working around the clock to get you all in as soon as possible I understand it's a really challenging time for everyone and we are all struggling in our own way. But now more than ever, please share the love! It will pass! Looking forward to seeing all your beautiful faces soon

05.01.2022 CANDLES It's a candle making type of day!! And I say day, because when making soooo many at once it takes time. But end result some beautiful smelling soy candles. So nice burning candles all day long especially when you have all day to enjoy them.

05.01.2022 YAY finally some good news for beauty salons...we can now potentially open earlier (end of October instead of November) along with hairdressers!! I'm sooooooo excited!!! All those that helped by signing the petitions etc it's paid off! I've had a few clients contact me already about appointments etc, however, there is a bit of grey area which I'm waiting for more clarification on. At the moment they have advised "Where a mask can be worn for the entire time you will be a...ble to open". So I would assume brow and eyeliner tattoo client's that wear a mask should fit within the new rule. But then they have also stipulated "Due to the need to wear a mask, facials, facial tattoos.....are not included in these revisions". So you can see the grey area I'll be monitoring this closely and will advise you all as soon as we get further clarification. At this stage, since our open date is still dependant on case numbers I will hold off on booking appointments. Once I get a definite open date, it will be all systems go and I'll be working extra days/times to get you all in. Thanks everyone for your patience during these frustrating times.
